nice catch on the flounder. u really cleaned off the fish to the bone XD do u remember the flounder bloom that happened a few years ago around the south(forgot where it was) and the number of flounders getting caught was ridiculous

Hey mate, have you tried catching them on rod and reel using soft baits? From what I’ve seen on KZbin it’s a successful and fun way of catching them in the US. I’m curious to know if it’d work here, can’t see why not?

When I was young we would go out to the mouth of the Waimakariri n this old guy with a light rod would spend a couple hours fishing and come back and his belt would have 10plus hanging of it. I really wish I had of asked what he was using back then .
