@LovelessArcana I absolutely agree with you! I was going to make the same/similar comment and saw yours. I suffer from severe endometriosis which cause blinding migraines and chronic pain. I had to finally accept that I can’t do everything that my family and friends do with workouts or activities. I’ve really worked on giving myself grace, not listening to the noise of “do this it will make everything feel better” I had surgery back in November for my endometriosis and Fibroids and it’s helped but I still feel like crap a lot of days especially with my migraines. Taylor spoke about it perfectly and accepting what you can and can’t do and being okay with that. I hope your having a great day 😊

That being said if I have another life I am making my energy take 📝 we will be child free in our next life! 🤭 There's nothing like being a parent the love is amazing and there's really nothing that compares but my goodness! lol My 3 babies are definitely enough for 3 lifetimes! 🥰😂 plus the anxiety I get when I think about not being here to protect/love them or the fears of having something bad happening to them is so stressful!

You literally do it all even with migraines and other pain conditions. You should be proud of yourself. I also believe u were the first person I ever followed on YT bc when u were at your palest we were the same shade and if u loved a foundation (CYO RIP) I could buy the same shade. I was never on the fence about having kids, but it definitely turned out differently than I imagined. I'm 47 with a 14 yo daughter - being her mom and loving her is like nothing I could have imagined in the best way possible. I married my "high school sweetheart" and remember thinking I wanted 4 kids. I married at 21 but struggled with infertility for many, many years. Then, secondary infertility and pregnancy loss until I finally stopped "trying" at 40. So my girl is my one and only. I'm not 100% what my point is...for most of us, we find contentment and joy in what life gives us. You're never ready, always learning as you go! I have no idea what it's like to have a 15 yo learning how to drive...but I'm going to find out pretty soon! Being a parent and being a spouse IMO are the hardest roles...you will hurt and disappoint each other more than anyone else. If you're prepared for that and stubbornly committed, you and your family will ultimately flourish (with lots of peaks and valleys). BTW, no one every feels 100% like an adult...the biggest myth of life is thinking that's the goal. The other biggest myth is "the terrible twos" ... there's something terrible about every age, even 47!

I am 20 years older than you are, and I love your comment about problems at every age. I don’t think I ever felt like I had arrived at a destination called adulthood. I would love to see some Oregon travel vlogs. The great thing about Oregon is there is so much to see and do. Lost lake, ghost towns throughout Eastern Oregon, Smith rock, tons of hot springs, beautiful light houses, fort Stevens on the coast, the stand by me day in Brownsville, while in Brownsville go to the Moyer house and see the braided tree as well, there is a little museum there made from a train car, take a steam boat ride on the Willamette in Salem it's a fun historic ride. There are so many fun and beautiful things to do in Oregon that people don't know about.

Adjusting perception of “working out” is so helpful when you have chronic pain/migraines. I can’t do an hour long class or go hard but I can lift a 5 lb weight for 5 minutes and do a few leg lifts. And honestly, I do see pretty good results with just that little bit of exercise. Listen to your body and do whatever works for YOUR body instead of trying to force it to work out in the ways that healthy people can. I think some people don’t work out at all because they can’t do a full blown workout but most people are capable of doing some kind of movement or stretching.

For anyone on the fence about having children: My partner and I had settled on being a childless/travel couple because we both had mixed feelings about having kids. “If we don’t feel strongly about having children for SURE…that’s probably our sign to not have kids.” My tipping point was a random Thanksgiving, holding one of my baby cousins. I grew up with lots of family members and had held dozens of other cousins. There was love for my family and i grew up babysitting my younger siblings. Something happened when I rocked that little one to sleep after dessert had been served. I got all starry-eyed and emotional. My husband came over and saw the sleeping baby; he said he knew our plans for the future changed that day. For me, it wasn’t until that moment that I realized how much I wanted to have children. We waited another 3 years before having our first baby. She is 9 months old and we can’t wait to give her a sibling. Sending all the luck to anyone wanting to have a child and all the vibes to anyone who wants to live their life independently. For anyone on the fence, may the Universe send you the sign that you need to help decide what is best for you 🫶

Not into cooking but I watch you for you so do what makes you happy. I think you have a valuable perspective on being an independent woman, choosing what makes you happy, not doing what everyone else is, so videos that incorporate that like: money management, being honest with yourself and choices, being a business owner. Enjoyed the makeovers in other countries, what about collabs with other artists?

We'd finally invested in nice furniture and clothes and trips, and we didn't want kids to take away from that life or having to spend money on them and never being able to travel because kids are expensive. We are both very happy in our lives without kids. Bought a house ten years ago. Careers are going great. Still take trips together. You can live a fulfilled life without kids. I wish more people understood that.

I have been with you for so many years..... and it makes me SO happy that you had an amazing time traveling, and have now found a place to settle down and create a life! I also suffer from chronic pain, and have come to the same conclusion as you have. Accepting the body you were given, even with the limitations, and finding peace with having days of little to no productivity. I feel incredibly proud that you have been able to navigate your medical issues, and still have amazing experiences traveling and seeing the world. Bravo, Taylor!!!🥳🥳🥳🖤🖤🖤

I started following you cause I heard other makeup creators mentioned you. It was right about the time you were leaving Seattle but I loved you travel videos because my daughter 22 was also traveling around the world solo. I like all your content 🩵

My husband and I were on the fence. Then we accidentally got pregnant, and it was truly a blessing. So much that we had another! I’m not sure we would have even had kids had our hand not been forced. But it’s the most amazing thing that has happened to us and our relationship.

I can’t even remember when I started watching you, but you are one of the few people that I still watch because of your genuine personality. Excited to see what places you explore in OR, so I can add them to my list or see if I’ve already checked them off. Glad you are getting settled and things are starting to fall into place. Also, I would recommend going to Japan and Korea, both are amazing and I’m sure you would have a wonderful time!

Seeing my best friend have a kid, solidified my decision to not have one lol. I always wanted kids, but it did not happen and now it would be major hurdles to make it happen so that was also a factor. But seeing how much her life has changed, I realized I'm not sure if I truly want that. I appreciate my freedom and peace so much, when I imagine how life would be if I were to become a parent, I much rather chose this life. Sleeping in, having an hour long shower every day if I want, quietness, travelling, buying anything I want. Your privacy and space all goes away once there are kids. ALL of it. Being an auntie is the life for me, you get all of the good stuff and send them home when you can't handle it anymore haha.

Being an auntie is truly the absolute best. I love all the kids in my life, but I wouldn't be happy giving up all the lovely things you mentioned and who wants a mom who isn't happy with her life choices?

I know there’s a lot of details missing probably but I think there needs to be a little more compassion for the tenant who suddenly had to move days before Christmas. Maybe she wasn’t compliant because she couldn’t suddenly afford to move all her things at a moments notice. Idk something feels off about that. Some people aren’t fortunate enough to be able to afford moving suddenly.

I’m 31, married for 3 years now and I don’t want kids. Just my opinion but if you’re “on the fence” and not sure if you want kids you shouldn’t have kids. Wait until you for sure want them to have them. If you’re unsure don’t do it. Just my thought

It sucks but just because you have children does not automatically mean you’ll have a big family. Children aren’t built in friends. Of course we hope that’s how it happens. But someday they’ll grow up and may not even want to speak to you or be around you. It’s just reality. We need to stop having kids solely for ourselves.

Taylor, please add "Write a memoir" to your vision board in the future. I would love to hear about your Jordan family, when you first met, things you learned then and more recently. It could look like a scrapbook, but with more prose woven in.

I’ve been subscribed for probably 8+ years already. My preference with any channel I’m subscribed to is vlog style, lifestyle, travel. The last few years I’ve become less interested in new makeup but shadow and shmooze is a perfect combo of everything for me. I’ll always be subscribed to your channel because you’re just authentic so you can do whatever :)

I've been following you since before you went on Accutane. I was desperately trying to find face products suited for my pale, cool-toned skin. You've actually helped me be brave enough to solo travel this summer and move states afterward. ❤ You are calm, honest, down-to-earth, and I feel like we have a lot in common as far as lifestyle and life trajectory, including chronic health issues, so film whatever you are comfortable sharing, and I will be here. My favorite videos have been your chatty ones, fundraising, moving, and food videos. Also, I keep stopping Thrones of Glass around page 75. 😂😅 Maybe you'll inspire me to finish it. I'm also planning to rent while I renovate a home starting this year. It's nice to watch someone who's doing the same things as me in life.

Hey Taylor! I've been here since just before you started your nomad travels 💞 I adore your makeup videos, so excited to see more now that you are settled! I really hope you are enjoying your new home and feel at peace where you are 💜 If you felt comfortable making it, I would love to see videos on your chronic illness/pain and how you cope through the hard days. As someone who also lives with chronic illness, I would love to see a minimal makeup routine or easy recipes/exercises for tough days 😊

I’ve been here for like 8ish years, and honestly love the travel and lifestyle content. My husband and I don’t have kids and have been leaning into traveling since things opened back up. We went to Japan this past October for our 5 year wedding anniversary, and so want to go back to see cherry blossoms! But maybe late February to avoid the March crowds. I think our next place on the list is Greece.
