CATCHING FISH for DINNER !! (SURPRISE CATCH)

Rocky, I'm almost 60, and back when I was a little kid my family would go to Bass Lake for 1 or 2 weeks every summer (in California) and my cousins and myself would catch blue gill, golden shiners, and crappie using white bread (Kilpatricks Bread) we would literally catch and release 100's of blue gill every week. You are the first KZbin channel to show this that I have seen. My big brother (15 years older) than me taught me this and every other fishing method. Sadly he passed away in April from ALS, after a career as a Fish and Game Warden in California, he retired as a Captain and absolutely loved to fish and hunt. This video reminded me of him and special moments as a child, thank you.

That was the Darling family that came down to eat with Aunt Bee and Andy..they'd come down to town every so often 😆 The best episode was when they had to come get Andy to come back up in hills to take care of that pest Earnest T Bass 🤣 you remember when Earnest T ran off with Barney wearing a wedding dress !🤣🤣🤣 Papa Darling was actor Denver Pyle who also played Uncle Jesse on Dukes of Hazzard. Wife and myself going out tomorrow morning for bluegill. We will fish in an oxbow lake we’ve been fishing for forty plus years. They move into that oxbow every September, and will stay until ice up. We will use wax worms for bait on 1/16 oz. Jigs probably catch a lot but keep about a dozen 7 1/2 to 8 inchers everything smaller or bigger will go back. Trees are turning up here in Michigan but it’s gonna warm up this week, my mom called it Indian summer. NICE CATCH ROCKY, and love that spot👍

Rocky, In today’s world they would send counselors to his house, thinking he’s jumping , to commit suicide. I was at the doctor the other day, and parked in this 8 floor parking lot. Came back to the car and there were police all over. There was a lady looking over the view smoking a cigarette and the security thought she was jumping The lady said don’t tell my husband he won’t take me anywhere. Haha Take care Great video
