Interesting Fact: Mahi Mahi, in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, means “Very strong”. It’s because when ancient Hawaiians has mahi mahi on the end of their twines, it would rock the canoe and make it very hard to reel in and keep balance. Mahalo nui e Aloha from O’ahu Hawai’i❤️

I love videos where the host keeps the audience engaged, teaches us their craft, provide natural “real” interactions with people and their personalities, and make it all look easy while doing it. Please, keep up the great work. First time watcher, definitely won’t be my last. Subscribed. Thank you for your work, from California, USA!

So pretty much Okinawans recreated most south american lunch meals. We eat everything over the rice. Carne molida, carne mechada, mojito (zulia state shark stew) pork, chicken, rabbit or goat stew, roasted lamb. You name it.

Pretty crazy how a new dish can be created by cultures bleeding into each other like that. Americans get inspired by Mexican tacos and do their own version, and the Okinawa sees American style Tacos and does their own American Taco inspired Rice Dish. You gotta appreciate the evolution of cuisine across borders like that. Now all we need is to hand it over to a Korean chef and see what they do, then pass it on to a Vietnamese chef. Keep the evolution rolling.
