Great video kev! that was a super fun trip. People may not have noticed how much time we spent cooking for this episode. We started the duck around 3 pm and finished cooking after 9 pm. It seems like everything takes twice as long with a campfire.

I smiled while watching knowing it takes much longer to cook over a fire vs a temperature controlled oven. Love me some medium rare quack quack. Blessings, K.T.

Awesome video Kev and nice to see you hang out with your brother and Keeping the old ways alive ! Really enjoyed this video and learned so much, you guys are great teachers. That old school kettle was really cool and would enjoy using one, its better than a Jet boil because no butane is used, and that bushcraft oven I will try back home in PR, everything all natural I love it. Looking forward to the next one , say hello to Diane. 💕🌟👍👍👍👍👍

Great video! The improvised calzone looked very appetising. I'd use the kettle for making some pine needle tea out in the field. Or nettle tea: it is packed with vitamins!

I've been interested in the Ghillie Kettle ever since I have seen them. It looks perfect for boiling up a bit of water with an incredible flexibility of the fuel source. As someone who is getting started in spoon carving, I have a lot of wood chips that I'd like to use up instead of just throw in the composter (since I don't have enough green items to balance the amount of wood). These would help out by boiling my water for coffee all winter long with a renewable source of fuel.

For the kettle, I would love to try and heat the kettle up with water in it and then use the residual heat to cook something on the inside where the fire chamber. The Loved the video. All your videos are top notch and I get excited when I see one come out

I love this video! TFS. Cooking on that shovel reminds me of a driving tour I went on in Hokkaido, Japan. Visited a farming town "michi no eki" (road side station) restaurant/farmers market that featured meals served on shovels. Local produce. So good!
