This game is great and has definitely become one of my favorites. It's just so clean and easy to play, simple enough to have fun taking it lightly, but also with some strategic depth when you really want to think about it. The fact that the winner is the first to fill in their board is also great, it's refreshing having a game just end and not have several minutes of final scoring. Sometimes I enjoy that process but for a lighter game like this it's great to have it just end with a clear winner.

Yeah I got the stickers for the game. I’m going to put them on half of them. So far I’m done with the Arctic foxes.

The fiddly rules were too much for me. It got annoying dealing with balancing all the animals as well on those tiny spaces and then the green shades causing no shortage of issues and the really lengthy setup. When you have much more streamlined polyomino games for multiplayer LIke Barenpark and Alices Garden then it just doesn’t have a place on the shelf.

This is quickly turning into one of my favorite series! Love the discussion that it brings. Also, this game is great...kind of lost in the shuffle maybe, but I enjoy this quite a bit. A 7 for me

For the most part, self-proclaimed pet parents are being facetious when they say it. Most are very well aware of the difference from owning pets vs. raising children.

@@relativelyboard9959 Sure but there are just straight up crazy people out there so I don't think it's worth casting a spotlight on those select few and generalizing the rest over it. People to need relax when they hear someone answer the question of, "do you have kids?" and someone replies, "yes, I have 2 furbabies!" No need to roll your eyes at their response, they're just being light hearted.

The whole idea of the video is that the people who up until now haven't had a chance to play the game now get to play it and give their thoughts. They're "catching up" on games they missed during the height of their popularity.

I too love this game. It has been a hit with my group. Most of the nitpicks you mentioned don't bother me but it definitely could do with a better player aid.

First polynomial game I've played! I love the zoo theme and this is great with all ages. Biggest complaint I have is setup is a bit of a pain. I wish the tiles had letters to differentiate, the darker greens are really hard to tell apart.

On the player boards being different, the 2 player boards are unbalanced. The animals you start with give you too much of an advantage. Some discussion on this on BGG and house rules to fix it
