Sloppy Joe's are one of my family's favorite meals besides Mexican food. This recipe should be an absolute winner in my house! I've never seen a sloppy joe casserole in the crockpot before. It looks mighty tasty! Makes my mouth water just looking at it! I can almost smell it through the tv lol! My daughter who is 25y.o. now LOVES sloppy joes A LOT! Catherine, since you use garlic and onion powder, salt, pepper and smoked paprika as a basis for alot of recipes, why don't you just make up a "seasoning salt"? I'm sure it would save you alot of time! I've done it and it makes a difference! This casserole will be used in my household alot! Thank you, Catherine!

back 45 years ago i use to make these Sloppy Joes with that same Manwich sauce and they were killer good and i made sloppy joes 3 weeks ago with the same manwich sauce and it is not the same as way back in the 1970's they changed something in the recipe , please tell me some you have noticed that also !! but i am going to try this recipe , looks yummy

Can someone think of something i could substitute for the cheddar cheese soup to make it gluten free? I suppose I could shred some cheese and add some milk and maybe some extra egg yolks to make it creamy and binding? Nutritional yeast could add to the cheesy flavor.
