That was one of my favorites back in the 70’s …… the lunch ladies in Elementary School would make Salisbury Steak and it was sooo delicious !!! I still love it today ! Have a great day Catherine !

Did you know the govt published FOR the lunch ladies a recipe folder type thing that had recipes in it for all sorts of our favorite things our ladies fed us in school in the 50's, 60's and 70's. I graduated in '73 and to this day I still miss their cooking. Mashed potatoes and hamburger gravy, Salisbury steaks like these today, peanut butter cookies....all made3 from scratch! I found the booklet online years ago!

I actually get steak, and I make mashed potatoes and use Lipton Onion soup dry soup. And I add onions and seasoning. I love it best Harry meal ever and a pleaser.

Oh Catherine it’s so Yummy. My granddaughter had this thing about gravy. She wouldn’t eat it touch it tasted anything. I had leftover roast beef and I put some jar gravy on it she was obsessed. I get cube steak and put them in my crock pot with onions and onion dry soup and add water. Then I cook potatoes or instant and put some carrots in with it and then I put them on my plate and mashed potatoes and the onion soup I thicken up and oh is that so good. Your looks awesome Catherine. Great job on this. This is a man's meal for sure walk in to the smell of that and he knows what's for supper. Thank you so much for sharing with us all.
