A good friend invited me to my first conference, I don't think I would have gone on my own, I loved it. I've now been to 4 conferences, and participate in the GS 24 on line study groups and app. I've learned alot and met some really great people.

My experience at a singles weekend was awful. The assumption seemed to be that we all were looking for marriage and we needed some kind of healing or improvement so we would be marriageable. I was just looking for a positive retreat experience and a chance to meet new people. Total mismatch.

John gottman and his wife did a study like 500 couples over 20 years of the couples marriages, and the biggest surprising conclusion that came to was that 67 percent of all marriage problems will never be resolved because they found most of the couples fought about the same things all the time

I just tried to register for Relationship Ready but when i open the form it mentions that the registrations where closed on the 24th:( is there another way to get access to those courses? I'm very interested!

Parishes used to have social activities for "all" where you could meet people in a non-churchy context. The idea of a conference for church-nerdy singles seems creepy and artificial.

I went to a singles night at my church. It said young adults. I figured I, who was 19 at the time, would be the prime demographic for it...nope! Instead it was for people from ages 22-33...bloody brilliant.

Similar experience except it was 25-33
