Cattle Ranching in the Old West!!

Riding a horse behind a heard of cattle is a magical feeling. In this video I take you on horseback gathering cattle and moving them to another pasture in Northern Arizona. The ranch has been in the family for over 100 years and working cows the way our grandparents worked them in the same beautiful desert landscape builds bridges between past generations and our generation.

And these cows are suppose to eat what ? And they are suppose to also feed a calf ? Hello.... Im familiar with milk cows..... and it takes a lot more energy to get milk from a cow ! Kinda sad when you cant even find your cows. I can now understand why ranchers complain about " profit "

Little Galleta, winter grasses. Variety of brush, June grass, fillaree, and even thistle. We always have an idea where they are. When we want to round up the heard we are very thorough covering the whole range even if it's for one or two. That's what I was doing in this video. Thanks for watching!
