This song was always sad but hopeful, I believe it plays when you get back to Arthur's house after the Labyrinth and in the waterside house in the Waterway. Always had a feeling of... Relief, but much harder things to come.

Cave story 3d looks so frustrating to play due to its unclear visuals, but damn it had an amazing remaster. Cave story+ with the wii's remastered graphics and the remastered soundtrack (along with being able to use any controls you like) is the definitive way to play this game. Also I use up arrow as my fire button. Apparently that's weird.
