I'm an old guy and in the old days you didn't have special manufactured bikes. You wanted a scrambler you made one from a street bike. You wanted a hill climber you made on from a street bike (surprisingly many of those were Harley's). Same with Cafe Racers. Good job guys.

Great video Mark looks like you both had a ball making it. Maybe tack a small mudguard say 5 0r 6 inches long to the back of the seat to reduce the spray and you should be golden.

Great build, and you had fun doing it! Now if it were I doing this it needs two more things a rear fender(mudguard) and a skid-plate (bash-plate) I think you guys will have fun riding that 250 around, I also can't wait to see what crazy project you guys take on next. David Trembath. I do like the stock look too, but those bikes are getting pretty out of date compared to newer CBs with cooling, fuel injection, modern instruments, back disks, and even ABS. Even the new CBR125 has about as much ommpth as the old 233cc twin Nighthawk and Rebel. I think more and more of them will find the brat scrambler life as they are all pretty cheap now for a ten year old dependable carbureted bike with cable and shaft brakes. Hope he saved the side cowl/tail one piece plastic for a donation to a stock one, but i didn't catch that episode when they stripped it.
