Dude the studio version and this version are the same length. That means his internal metronome is amazing

I recorded myself playing this note for note 5 times. I came in at 2min 56 to 58 seconds. He is at 3.33. It is tough to play it that slow, but he's the pro.

My son just introduced me to Colter Wall. I'm not usually a fan of country and western music, but I love Colter Wall's performance. Love his guitar playing. Find his voice hypnotic. Just love a number of his songs I've heard and have to play them over and over. He is a major major talent! Thank you Colter Wall!

Prayin' on the north wind Lead me to my door Thumbing through my green backs Swearin' I made more Some cruel nightly cycle Leaves me cryin' on a motel floor But I don't cry for you anymore For many a dark hour I look up to the sky Many unkind thoughts are laid Upon my hazy eyes Sometimes I get to thinkin' Why wait around to die But I don't think of you So I get by Every day it seems My whole damn life's just a codeine dream But I don't dream of you anymore The sun is gone away now Green grass turns to brown Every December gets a little bit harder Lay that bottle down It's more than just the weather That plagues this prairie town But I won't be seeing you When I come 'round Every day it seems My whole damn life's just a codeine dream But I don't dream of you anymore

Outstanding!! Colter Wall is the "New King of Country"! His delivery is pure honesty to our ears, just pure soul and truth are within him. Like Brendon Leary said,, "Three chords, the truth, and a voice of gold"!! Thank you Colter for following your dreams, making the world happy and a better place!
