I have loved Lucy since I was a kid. My mom watched it constantly and her humor was just the best. I named my dogs Ricky and Lucy. I even had a portrait of her I inherited after my mom passed away and it hung on my wall. When I found Jesus and started learning more about demonic spirits, I got rid of everything that resembled a person, statue, skull, etc. in my home. Including the Lucy portrait since it seemed like idolization -the more I learned. I also don’t watch the show anymore even though it has strong nostalgic ties for me. I went to see a Christian concert back in the early 90's I believe, down in Key West Florida, the band was "David And The Giants". Still love that band & awesome songs to this day! I saw Keith playing in the band that day, playing drums I think? But before that I saw him standing over a little ways from me, I wanted so badly to go talk to him, but unfortunately my shy side came out & I couldn't bring myself to do it. I still regret it. lol I knew he played Little Ricky on I Love Lucy, I knew he was a Christian too, that's why I wanted to go say hi to him, to tell him I love his band's music, & I mostly wanted to ask him if Lucy knew Jesus Christ as her personal Lord & Savior, because back then I was a young new Christian & I was praying very hard for her to be saved, I loved/still love her so much & I wanted to make sure she'd go to Heaven one day. I hope I can meet Lucy in God's perfect Kingdom when I get to Heaven, & I hope I can finally talk to Keith! 😁 Btw, I still have my beloved cassette tape of David And The Giants! I used to share the songs with people I knew so they could hear the Gospel & know how much God loves them through those songs. I want everyone in Heaven! ✝️👑 My 10 year old niece got saved back then, I used to play those songs for her too. She's 50 years old now & still loves Jesus. Thank you this was very interesting. I’m Catholic never changed and was back then as well. That was a starting point for me because all religions are starting points to find Jesus Christ and love him. I lived in that era that he did and I did not get into the drugs and all that, but it certainly was an opportunity for many. But as time went on, I also got more deeply into the Bible and all the good stuff. No matter what religion you are when you’re a child, it can change as you get older…. if you’re searching for Jesus and that’s exactly what he did and that’s what I’ve been doing. There is so much in life that is a danger to us and we don't have a clue. The first thing I thought of when I saw him, was Little Ricky and Desi playing and singing Babalu together. Apparently, that is a chant. It makes me shutter now. And someone commenting that Lucy was always lying. Uh, yeah, she was. How do we glorify that. No wonder their marriage fell apart. It was based on a lie; the father of lies right in the middle of it. He is always out to steal, kill and destroy. But out of this came a child who eventually came to Jesus, the Real Savior of the World.
