Man I love how the quality of your videos gets better video by video. I own an 02 split seat and I agree about the suspension, is way too soft even for street riding. Still I love mine because is plenty fast and super reliable. I love your enthusiasm at the track. Keep it up!

F4i is a great bike. I’ve owned two of them, looking forward to putting in some track days on it soon.

The number 1 reason I love this bike is that it's all manual. No safety controls, no limiters, no BS on the back end. I love my f4i. I have an 05 with 28k on the clock. She's my first bike and I'll probably never get rid of her. Once I do get another bike, I'll probably turn this into a stunt bike. I try to ride every day thru the year.

I got into track driving in my car but it is my only daily driven car and I want to own it as long as possible. I really put a lot of wear on it. Now that I think about it I am interested in using my F4I as a track bike. I commuted on it for 3 years and I am fairly comfortable with the bike and want to have something I can take on track and not have to worry about insurance or if it breaks down. I don't care about lap time just want to get my track bug fix and become a better rider.
@WidgeTheWiz Жыл бұрын
Definitely a good bike for that experience!

Hi, Wedge!! I have an F4i just like yours & next month I'm going to a class called "Apex Assassins" next month. Do you have any recommendations for preparing for a track day?
@WidgeTheWiz2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! Well it sounds like you are going to a school and I'm sure that they will be able teach you all the techniques you'll need. So I'll stick to off the track advise. 1. Go to bed early and get lot's of rest. Track days can be more exhausting than you think. 2. Pack all of your items the night before so you don't have to rush the next morning. 3. If your track day starts at 9am try not to start your bike till about 8am unless you are asked by someone doing tech inspection. (It's nice to keep things chill in the morning) 4. Pack a lunch. 5. Bring ear plugs. 6. Tire pressure gauge. Check at start and half way through the day. 7. Have fun!

Did you have a problem with the pegs scraping? I saw a video of a 600f that scraped pegs on a backroad like crazy.

@@WidgeTheWiz Would you say it’s any different than a Ninja 400? I’m planning on buying a bike next year. I’m trying to gather as much data as I can.
@WidgeTheWiz Жыл бұрын
@@mrmcbeth Never rode the Ninja 400 but I have ridden a Ninja 300. Riding position is similar with these two but I would recommend the lower CC bike if you are just starting out. I never scraped on the Ninja 300 but I also wasn't riding aggressively on track.
