@47redneck47 A slipper helps in smoother engine braking. The idea is to eliminate rear wheel locking when you are downshifting to brake. This clutch also helps to reduce the prob of engine revs jumping the rev limiter when you downshift to brake...

Instead of finding tubes, I found it much easier to use two washers and lock them in place with a rubberband. Ill make a small video and share it for everyone here

@tonycstech, slipper clutch is installed so you dont blow your motor if you accidentally downshift too many gears

He nive vid bro! Question my girl is getting the 2013 cbr 600rr repsol and she's been riding for 2months now! So I'm kinda worried I have a 2012 r6 so there's the ycc-t and the slipper clutch,,,and she doesn't even know how to blip the throttle lol,,,anyway sorry bout the long message! What do u recommend for a slipper clutch and I mean the best of the best,,,and I live in brooklyn n.Y I don't mind shipping the bike to u to get it done

its easier for you to just put grease where the ball bearing will sit at? it will hold the ball bearings

Have you removed your clutch before?? because the first is a friction plate then the springs, then the rest of the clutch pack. The first friction plate is a differant size

I have a 900RR but can't find any good info. I have a Clymer manual as well as a Honda one but I can't seem to find info about the clutch plates (silver ones) they are flat on one side and beveled on the other, which way do they go when putting the clutch back together? Thanks.

The same oil you would put in the bike ;) Don't use car oil.

Hi, fist bike and i need to change the clutch because it's slipping, (the bad way). fist question, do you soak the new plates with the regular engine oil? And do you know if anyone has made a how-to for a CBR 600 f2? (1991-1994) I'd be gratefull for an answer :) and great vid btw!
