@Jay D. Volk no, not even close. Absentee voting has only been a very small percentage of the votes in the past. True, there has been guidelines set up for those in the past, but most of the states are not following those guidelines for the mail in ballots. Some states are just mailing ballots to everyone on the voter registration lists, even if they weren’t requested. Other states have no way to really verify that the person filling out the vote is the person it was sent to. There are not signatures on record to compare to and some states are using machines to verify the signatures using only a 40% match threshold. They can’t decide on when the ballots have to be received by, and some are saying that they will take ballots after the election without postmarks. Everyday you see news reports of drop off boxes being vandalized or mail being found dumped with ballots. How many are not being found, how many votes won’t get counted? Something as important as voting should not be rushed in just 3-4 months, it should have been planned out more and phased in over the next couple elections. Add in the fact that the post office has had limitations because of COVID19, and there is a big backup. I didn’t trust the USPS before all this, I get my neighbors mail all the time and have had several pieces of mail get lost. There was no reason to have mail in voting for the masses. People that have actual medical conditions that are worried could always request a absentee ballot, the rest could vote in person. But the Democrats love making voter fraud easier.

Most reporting I've seen of mail in ballot theft fraud isn't telling the whole story. They don't say "these ballots were stolen from Republican leaning areas." This way they can get away with saying "we reported this but don't want to anger Democrats."

@Gregoryl v Exactly! If I had sent it regular mail it probably would have been delivered no problem lol!! Then the Post office would not refund the full amount, only the certified charge. So I had to mail everything again and it arrived no problem.. Then a few weeks later the first package got delivered hahaha. So my confidence in efficiency of the PO is not very high at the moment.

In California San Ramon, a few days after I placed my ballot in the local post office mailbox I received an email that my ballot was received and the day after that I received a "You Voted" email message. My friend in Livermore - who is an enthusiastic Trump voter - having a few Trump flags in his yard - still hadn't heard news 3 days after election day. His ballot was probably lost.

We must all agree that the only way to vote is IN PERSON, at the polls on voting day. And DO NOT fill in the ballot you received on the mail and just drop it off. Go into the voting booth and manually enter your choices. It seems too easy for the system to somehow manipulate paper ballots.

As a result of the last minute actions involving the USPS We The Congress take the following necessary actions to ensure voting by mail in not hendered or adversely affected as an example: Congress pay fedex, DHL and UPS to send registered voters a postage paid expressed envelope with the appropriate return address for the mail in ballots thus takes the load off of the United States Postal Service and dividing up between those 3 Mega delivery services fedex, DHL and USPS. Devise an avenue that would circumvent the attack on the USPS.....This is not a game and this incompetent idiotic so call-president will stop at nothing to steal yet another election, he knows his freedom depends on it as well as the freedom of many others

The USPS at my USPS PO Box got so bad after years of numerous mail delivery fraud and errors, my mail was being illegally withheld, tampered with or stolen that I had to call to local police just to be able to pick up my delivered packages too large to fit in my rented USPS PO box and had to report it to the uspsoig gov and had to change my mailing address to a private carrier mailing address. As a concerned registered voter for more than 30 years, taxpayer and mailboxholder who pays more than $100 a year to help facilitate the mail delivery service, many Americans and I are concerned with the problem USPS mail delivery service for many reasons. Some mail-in ballots that were mailed were illegally intercepted by criminals who voted without the knowledge and consent of the registered voter who claimed they never received the mail in vote ballot. 20 - 30 years ago many voters voted in person at their local polling station, including myself, but in recent years many people have started voting by mail ballot because it is more convenient, easier and less time consuming, especially now during the recent months of the contagious pandemic. This is the only way a percentage of voters will vote or prefer to vote, especially if they are very busy, forget or have a disability or medical condition. The USPS recently stopped delivering some of my mail, including mail from my county elections that handle mail-in ballots, address changes with new voter registration cards and most mail concerning local, state and national voting and elections. For instance, last month, I called my local county elections office to request a change of address with a new voter registration card to keep in my wallet and to receive mail-in ballots. The black woman asked me to repeat the new address over the phone three times to mail me the application to apply for the change and told me she would send it to me after their website would not allow me to request it online twice that included my driver's license number and social security number be input to make the request online and was twice. I never received anything from them. So, now, I must vote in person for the Republican Primary in August. Vote Republican. Vote early. Vote as soon as possible. Choose a day and precinct location to vote that is most convenient for you. Don't wait until the last day that will be more busy with possibly longer lines in case you forget or can't vote on that day.

The questions are (1) was the ballot time-stamped by the USPS on or before the election date? and (2) when did the actual ballot arrive? In all states the ballot must be time-stamped on or before the election date. State law determines how many days after the election date a late arriving ballot may be counted. In New Jersey, the ballot has to arrive within two days of election day for it to be counted. So, mail your ballot early! You can always drop it off at the Board of Elections for your county.

You have to understand the mentality of the postal supervisor . Report figures is all that matters . The mail just gets in the way . I have never heard a supervisor say there job was to process the mail and get it out the door in a timely fashion . As for you missing mail, it is probably laying under a machine somewhere . Maintenance hates to letter search and do their daily routes . Our supervisor told use he didn't care if we did the routes our not as long as we signed them off as being completed .

I live in Southern VA. I voted very early (Oct 3) by Mail. It took 10 days for the mail to be delivered across town to the Voting Registrar's Office. After mailing your ballot, it id a good idea to call your local Voting Registrar's Office to make dure that they received your ballot.
