Why were building permits even granted without water taps? Only so much water flows down that creek above town, you would think this would be THE primary concern before any shovels hit the dirt.

Got to get these people in their houses so they can start lodging noise complaints against Red Rocks Amphitheatre. You just _know_ that's going to be the next thing "they didn't know about".

We live in Coyote Gulch neighborhood since 2000 and it's common knowledge "before Bandimere close" that loud noise will be common during some racing even in the Summer, it's these builder and new homeowner that stupidly build house near a Racing track and Music Venue and complaints.
@Singlesix62 ай бұрын
@@butchchu608 There's an established outdoor gun range in this area. The road into the place is lined with older homes. When asked if there are ever any noise complaints the typical answer is "Look at the name of the road they live on. They knew." Range Road.

Hope none actually closed. If any did, they could be stuck. Otherwise, wait a little while longer hoping for the best. Assuming the homes aren't gutted by scrappers or invaded by squatters before then. The affected buyers should, if they're able, bail out now and buy somewhere else with more competent government and better infrastructure.

Metropolitan districts are barely a step above HOAs. Less accountable than elected officials, even. How much are the developers controlling the district?
@johnmccracken54652 ай бұрын
lol. Typical. In Durango people are trying to stop all construction over water. I was stopped by a lady at a job site that moved from NY a year ago and she told me they need to stop all building immediately. I thought that’s convenient to think that way after you got ur home built a year ago.

The development is a visual monstrosity along C470. Too many houses and not enough future water. Scale back the number of houses or only build so many per year to lengthen the buildout process which the developer won't want to do. The problem is that developers want to build out fast, i blame them and Jeffco. In Arvada the Candelas subdivision was supposed to take about 15 years to build out residental part but the development was completed in much less time. Planning authorities need to stop the overbuilding. We are losing all our green space.

I live in a third world but we are lot more organized here at 1/4th the price (yes low salaries but we live with free health care and proper food that humans can digest than the processed garbage I saw day in and out in America). Considering how many brilliant people I met during my stay in US, I get surprised when I hear they are so messed up in meeting human needs though. 80 inch television was half the price in there though but I guess I prefer my health over entertainment.
