If you are qualified, you don't need immunity... if you need immunity, you are not qualified! End qualified immunity for all public employees wether hired or elected.

QI should be very rare in only used in very particular circumstances. The way it is now they can violate rights and all long as there isn't a car that fits the facts almost identically then they can't be sued civilly, but that means that they get the immunity and it doesn't go to court and no precedent gets set so next time the exact same thing happens they also get immunity since there's no case because the last case got immunity. It's circular and nonsense. It's not even law, it was just a ruling by a court to protect their bloodhounds since most judges and prosecutors are just as corrupt as police and see the citizenry as cattle to be fined and leeched off of.

Simple, make the instructors pay for all the lawsuits- personally. If they have kids, put them in foster care until they get a different job, pay all lawsuits in full, and have the victims /and families sign off on approval to have the kids returned. Police misconduct will be a thing of past in about 2 years.

Interesting obviously but…. I’d really like a inside investigation about: What it takes to Pass a training academy for certification. Are there tests with minimum scores to pass? (Since the academy receives money to train, do they ‘pass’ all tests?) Is a set amount of attendance required? (Or is it simply that if you sign up, you will pass?) Too often PDs have given the excuse that an officer is ‘still in training’. Referring to on the job training. But that should be fine tuning training the rookie has already received at the academy. Training that seems impossible in the ridiculously short 6 months academy time. But not truly surprising considering that law enforcement endorses cops as ‘Expert’ at ______, because the cop participated in a 2 hr course to be certified an ‘Expert _____’ (like expert DUI investigator, expert speed enforcer, etc).

There are 2 people in jail for every cop on the road and we have the largest prison population in the world by like 4x the next highest. That's nearly a million cops. There are towns with 1000 people and like 60 cops, WTF is that about? So they really need to drop 80% of the town's budget on creeps in weird hats harassing people because they're bored?

6 months training to become a cop. Two years. Of training to become a barber ? 😮
@markmalasics34132 ай бұрын
That's what you get for believing everything that another cop-hater spews out of his mouth and uneducated brain. Read it for yourself, 41.66 days, one and 1/3 months. "Step 1. Complete 1000 Hours of Massachusetts Barber Training. Your first step to attaining a Massachusetts barber license is graduating from a Massachusetts barber school. The Board requires that your barber college provide at least 1000 hours of barber theory and practical instruction."
@stephendinan56222 ай бұрын
@@markmalasics3413 So 1000 hours is 6 months of training at 40 hours a week. Your not implying that 1000 hours can be done in 41.66 days are you?
