Dragonflies are one bug that I don't mind. It could have been a swarm of wasps, a ground invasion of ticks. Now ticks are a bug I don't like, if ticks could fly we would be done as a species.

Dragonflies harvest the tiny black flies that are a menace in Maine and Quebec. I used to celebrate the arrival of large dragonflies in July when I lived in Aroostook County. These helpful dragons would devour the awful black flies that swarmed me from May until the end of July each year.
