Brazilian prison using geese for security

Officials at a prison in Brazil have discovered that geese can provide security. The geese patrol the fenced perimeter between the prison yard and the outer walls.

I just love geese, they are so wonderful. I wish I had a ward and I would have a goose. They are so loyal, affectionate and they have attitude.

When I was 8 years old I almost got attacked by a mother goose for getting to close to her and her baby. She turned her head upside down and started chasing me. It was like something out of the exorcist. They are definitely aggressive!😂

City geese and ducks are pretty protective of the homeless populations from human predators, as well. It's pretty impressive that once a group of geese learn a job, they are just as eager to please their humans as any other animal.

And what if a prisoner is escaping on the far end of their enclosure? It really doesn't seem like they are all that bothered by people. 🙄 Prison Guard: These geese will attack and be aggressive towards people. Geese: Hey whats going on? We're just waddling around honking here and there. And we're especially not attacking a prison guard, reporter and cameraman surrounding us.
