Michael Moore documentary Sicko talks all about the schemes of doctors, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. Doctors get paid by them and get paid so much money to use their medications. It's insane what these doctors, pharmaceutical, and insurance companies get away with. Maybe you both should sit down and watch the documentary together. I will be honest it's very upsetting to watch because it's so much truth. Michael Moore does an amazing job in the documentary. I'm trying to convince a friend who was alleged to have pancreatic cancer, to investigate his condition & treatment, because his medical records did not speak to him having cancer, and after the surgery, they made no other mention of cancer, but yet they put him on an aggressive chemotherapy, for a stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and he's going downhill fast, and I am praying that he hears me and listens to me and gets off of this chemo. Sadly, he is not the only oncologist giving patients chemo when they don’t need it. It’s a common practice with most unscrupulous oncologists as giving chemo to patients, is a billion $$$ business. There was a nurse whistleblower who contacted the regulatory agencies and waited a year before they answered her and told her everything was fine. It took almost 2 years after the first whistleblower to even investigate this doctor. So many innocent people could have been saved. The doctor who received the one million dollar reward wouldn't have known about what was going on if the doctor hadn't been on vacation. One of the crooked doctors patients saw the whistle blower doctor. She had fallen down in the office and broke her leg so she had to postpone her chemotherapy. Her broken leg was a blessing in disguise. When the whistle blower doctor ran some tests on her he found she didn't have cancer. Then he ran tests on many other patients and found they didn't have cancer either.

What people don't know is that a nurse interviewing for a job ( almost a 2 hour interview) noticed that when she stepped out of the office one of the patients was still on the chemotherapy 2 hours later. This specific therapy was to be used for only 20 minutes. She told the regulatory agency and a year later ( after she kept calling them) hey sent her a letter saying there was nothing wrong. When the male doctor who received the $1 million dollar whistleblower reward that SAME agency changed their story and stated that the nurse should've contacted other agencies. The nurse KNEW that this was the agency to contact. I read about this story in People magazine and on Dateline. When Harry Markopoulos went to the regulatory agency SEC about Bernie Madoff they ignored him. See 60 minutes. It wasn't until his sons turned him in did we find out what was happening. These regulatory agencies are not regulating. 75 percent of the funding of the FDA is provided by the pharmaceutical industry. A conflict of interest. The Fox is in charge of the henhouse.

My dad has stage 4 lung cancer. Been battling it for 6 years. I'm a nurse and seen all of his scans biopsy reports. And 2 doctors came to the same conclusions. My dad did go through 2 years of chemotherapy and radiology. Now is doing immunotherapy. Which he will continue for a very long time. Goes for scans every 6 months the tumors are not spreading but also not shrinking either. The main tumor is now scar tissue but the others are not going away.
