Beautiful inside and out! And as a petite woman myself (just under 5'), it's nice to see a fellow shortie up there! 😂

Such a beautiful woman, great spokesperson for people with disabilities. Imagine she will make even greater strides in the future!

I’m a pretty tough cookie, seen a lot, done a lot been THROUGH a lot, but as I watched that beautiful child on that screen, I had a feeling, as if I had won something. Yes, I do agree, it’s a first, and truly special, BUT, let’s hope that it doesn’t remain as such. Let’s hope that this becomes the new normal, where the labels pinned on people who just happen to be “different” have had to walk through this life, this world, constantly having to somehow prove to us so called “regular” folks that they are worthy, be of a title, a crown, or just good old common courtesy and respect. It’s the very least that we can afford our fellow travelers on this precarious, and sometimes scary journey called life. Every person out there, I wish you all the best. Please, accept this lovely bouquet 💐, and have the best weekend EVER!🌹

Nice girl. But not everyone with Down syndrome can do everything, it depends on the individual degree of disabilities.

She speaks goodly and so what if she can’t uphold the responsibility of the winner it’s about making a statement for the community! Happy to see her alongside our trans gender congressman and African American woman to senate! Don’t focus on the “nuts and bolts” who needs that when it’s about equality and attention! Like Stormy Daniels even! She’s a hero as well! ❤❤

Hey, Amy, I guess you are trolling these comments as much as we are. Truth hurts… doesn’t it?

Look i applaud this girl and love whats shes doing for herself and others but come on man this woke bs has got to stop, Delaware has alot more to offer,i know of 3 teen females that do 10 times what this girl does and are alot easier on the eyes, and please dont think i dont believe this girl is pretty she is beautiful but come on man, when she speaks you can hear she has an issue and they judge on how these girls speak(and for any1 who thinks i believe thats all they are judging, stop cause i know its not) but speech is a score in pageants ,there were handfuls of girls on that stage that deserve this crowning over her but this woke agenda is crippling our society, wake up ppl we can all see why she was picked and its not right! And yes i have the balls to speak up unlike most

Delaware has more to offer for sure..... Like business corruption and a fentanyl issue thanks to Philly and doctors that would take money for scripts

She is a better speaker, prettier and more intelligent than Meghan Markle. Plus she has morals that yacht girl Markle doesn't have.

@@charlotteheleneakacharlief8879 that's a BIGGGG stretch of a lie and any dude with eyes wouldn't lie about it XD side note it's comments like that which makes these things happen in the first place 🤣 again when you leave things to women this WILL happen 99% of the time

As beautiful as she is, it seems like the movement for inclusion has been so accepting thar only the target contestants are excluded. Accept the Miss Black America pageant.
