A lot of the people who worked at the Tesla factory in Fremont were commuting to work from Sacramento, Stockton, and Lathrop. One of those employees was Nico Murillo.

Was living way above his means. That Tesla even if he bought it with employer discount probably has close to 300k miles with that crazy commute for 5 years from lathrop to Fremont. Car is basically worthless, nobody wants a high mileage Tesla. So underwater on his car plus mortgage. Yikes

I’ve watched your channel before! Wishing best of luck to you Nico, can’t wait to see your journey. Have you tried maybe start your own company? In whatever it is you do. I work in big tech but I keep trying to do my own thing to leave the rat race.

That’s the best part about being an employee vs an employee. You just go get another job.

Just saw his videos that led me to find the news story... it's a sad reality when companies don't care about you and reminded me of the lady who camped out at Twitter, and was part of the transition team when Elon purchased it and still got let go. Glad to see he still has a positive attitude about this and hope for nothing but the best!

I feel sorry for him. For people on h1b visa its even worse. They have to sell house, bolongings and have 60 days to find a job or leave the country with family. Even after they have been living in the US for over 2 to 3 decades.

That's life. That's what all the people say. You're riding high in April, shot down in May. But I know I'm gonna change that tune when I'm back on top, back on top in June.

Or instead of selling the house. You could sell the cars. Get a salvage title car Honda Civic, preferably. And you’ll be good to go. I did the same thing two years ago and I’m still living nice!

He lived in California Those wages for a High tech Supervisor are Common. My guess he was working about 60 hour a week minimum. Tesla is known for doing that. His pay was not all that great considering the amount of hours he was probably working and living in a very expensive state.

@@eduardomaldonado1647 I live in California too San Francisco to be exact and I could never work for those types of companies!. I'm a housekeeper for a private estate and make $55 an hour if over time I make $88 an hour!
