I feel like it obviously is, the 9ers were favorites to make it and the Chiefs were repeat visitors. Round 1 had fun upsets but after that it was a mess, this year the NFC is up for grabs even if the AFC is not especially competitive

A quarterback is just the most important player in the sport. Swap Barkley with a backup running back, and the Eagles are a playoff team. Swap Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson with another GOOD QB and they are dead in the water. He’s the best RB, on the best offensive line, with elite weapons around him, and a freak athlete at quarterback…. It would be crazy if he wasn’t breaking records. -Just my 2 cents 🤷‍♂️

The NFL needs to go back to 6 playoff teams per conference and give the first round bye week back to the #2 seed which they took away prior to the 2020 NFL Season. The 6 playoff team format the NFL introduced in 1990 was just fine.

I agree. It's just for the money. An extra playoff game, owners support it for the same reason, an extra chance to make more money. It dilutes the accomplishment of making the playoffs. NBA did the same thing with the play-in tournament. Professional sports is all about making money at the expense of the integrity of the game.

We aren't talking about yall beating a clueless 9ers team. Darnold has a higher completion rating, a MUCH better TD/INT ratio, and more yards than Mahomes. I think they are playing so good that not even the refs could take it away from them. This is a Packers fan telling you this. I very much dislike the success that the vikings have this year, but it is undeniable. The only way that the Vikings don't knock y'all out is if the lions knock out the vikings first. If yall beat the lions or vikings it will be by the grace of The Holiness himself, Roger Goodell and his meddling refs. Yall also lost to buffalo, they have your number. As a Lions' fan, I don't care if they end up in second place in the NFC North. What bothers me is that they then become a wild card team with an excellent record and have to travel to a divisional winner with a worse record. I wish the NFL would eliminate the divisions and take the top eight teams from each conference... No first round bye. (Let some genius figure out tie-breaks). This would allow an extra team in the playoffs and a better variety of games. You can still have traditional divisional match-ups, but no more playing the same three teams twice. The Lions and Vikings aren't just fighting for a first-round bye and home field advantage, they are fighting to avoid an unfair playoff-positioning system that the NFL foolishly allows.🦁
