That was my impression too after reading the book. To elaborate on what not finding peace means: I don't think science and medicine were quite far enough to treat the complex mental health issues and anxiety disorders he struggled with, so he was never comfortable enough to maintain lasting sobriety. Carrie Fisher passed from analogous circumstances. They were amazing entertainers though.

Was in my 30s when Friends first started. I was not watching alot of TV. I spent 50 hrs a week at the office. Cultural arts reflect generational trends. The writers touched on what viewers felt about themselves. The characters gave each one of us inclusion, a place in time for a generation. Lucile Ball would have loved this show. Thanks Chandler.

Friends will forever be a part of me. I was watching this show since I could walk, so this show is me, in a way. I grew up with it, it made me sarcastic and a great friend, loyal and humble. I remember having a little crush on Chandler when I was younger. 😊 This show was always there for me, no matter what, in the most painfully dark moments and in the most joyful times. I will never get over Matthew’s death. I had my share of drug abuse in my life (mostly party drugs), and I still smoke marijuana every day since I was 15, but while reading his book I’ve noticed how we are all just throwing our days away by numbing ourselves because we can’t deal with the realities of life sometimes. Well, most of the times for some of us. Addiction is no joke. It messes with you on so many levels but when you really start having problems with it you’re already far too into it. That’s what makes it super hard to quit despite being so life threatening. Thankfully I’m only addicted to marijuana now, it was years since I took any other drug. But weed can still make you paranoid if you keep using too much and definitely changes the course of your life. So that’s why I understand him a lot. I was just reading his book this morning, it’s such a good read, although sad now after he’s passed away. 😢 I miss you, Matty. I’m so sorry you never found happiness that you deserved. Love you forever ♾️ ❤❤❤ And Courtney is always so beautiful! And she’s always classy. She’s such a great actress, too, I can’t imagine anyone else playing Monica.

When I was 13, I met Courtney on a flight from I think Pittsburg to California, around 1992/ 1993. I used to fly everywhere, alone, as a kid. Mostly between the east and west coast, where my mother and father lived. After some time talking about nothing in particular? I couldn't hold onto that one for much longer, so I blatantly told her "You're Courtney Cox, from Ace Ventura and Friends..." She was majorly taken aback, in a way that told me, "Did anyone else hear that?" And "How does this 8 year old know who that is?" I've always looked way younger than I was, which was particularly troubling as a teen. I'll never forget how incredibly sweet she was. Not even a little bit pretentious/ snooty. At least not to me. She was genuinely interested in what I had to say and I was even more surprised that she had light freckling that was not ever observable in anything I had seen her in, which made her so much prettier in person. My mother watched Friends religiously at that time.

It's a shame she felt the need to put so much filler in her face so glad she had it removed she didn't need it. Women in Hollywood shouldn't feel the need to ruin there face.
@skymorebluevideos4 ай бұрын
I agree that it's sad that women get pressured into getting plastic surgery, but do you think it's helpful for you to voice these opinions? People commenting on someone's appearance is the root of most of their insecurities. It's really unnecessary and counterproductive.
@francaperotti83434 ай бұрын
@skymorebluevideos I haven't said anything nasty about her appearance. Like many actresses, they are pressured to look young I don't personally care what people look like she felt pressure to put filler in her face she said it herself she was young in Friends and because she started a career in modelling she was made to feel her face wasn't good enough. She was beautiful before Hollywood decided she wasn't
