Phil Mogg, you are a goddamn legend. You are one of a very few that set the pace for generations to come. Your voice, your emotional compositions, your very presence in the grand worlds of Rock n Roll has always left me never having enough. I’m a U.F.O. follower to the end. And most grateful I grew up when I did. In the age and Time of Legends. The 70s. Thanks fellas. And thanks again Mr Moog. You’re the real deal man. 🇬🇧✌️✌🏼✌🏻✌🏿✌🏾✌🏽✌️🇬🇧

Too much shred with Vinnie I ageee! But Phil! Fucking great one of the best in rock. Could never stomach for long any of Schenker’s vocalists. UFO WITH THE TWO WAS PERFECTION

Someday I'm gonna find out what Jason Bonham has or had to say about touring, recording briefly w/UFO. He was on that TV show Rockutard, er, Supergroup I think. And he talked briefly but had to skip out of some of it to play with Foreigner. In my mind, as big as F was he was more fortunate to have played with UFO. Phil had a heart attack recently at 74. Hope he pulls out alright.

@michaelblankenu6598 - Who cares about the hair? (I had hair down to my ass once upon a time, but am now totally bald). We have great taste in music and that’s what really counts! 🤘🏼

Great interview - thanks for posting. Better late than never! Good though Vinnie is, I always felt he was the weakest guitarist UFO had in terms of having a recognisable style. In 2019 Michael said they were just running off the trade mark name at that time, and I couldn't help but agree.

He's their most technically proficient guitarist. He runs rings around Schenker, can not only nail his stuff but brings his own style. You clearly haven't heard his solo works. The guy is top of the heap and a great songwriter to boot. He brought much stability to UFO.

While I like Moore, I never thought he was a good fit for UFO. They shuda stuck with Jeff Kolman
@crusheverything444922 күн бұрын
@@timguzz8844- ☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼THIS!!! The Chocolate Box album by Mogg Way, which unfortunately couldn’t be released as a UFO record due to Schenker owning 50% of the name UFO, stacks up to any of the Schenker-era UFO albums, IMO and is the great “lost” gem of 90s rock. I think Jeff Kollman is a much better songwriter than Vinnie and has a greater pallet of sounds and styles. He was the perfect replacement for Michael Schenker, but apparently, didn’t want the UFO gig because Pete Way (bless him - R.I.P.) was all messed up and Jeff said Phil could be hard to deal with when he was drinking. The other record Phil made with Jeff, Dancing With St. Peter by Sign of 4, is almost as good as Chocolate Box. Fans of UFO who haven’t heard those two records with Kollman should seek them out. Truly great stuff!!

True story, he can play anything, including way more than he should. It’s boring actually

The video has Phil’s surname as Moog (it’s Mogg). I’d be willing to bet that has driven the poor dude up a tree all his entire career!

As stated by others, Phil still sounds awesome. It's a shame he's the only original member at this show.

@@eddiebrown687 Paul Raymond was not an original member of the band when it formed in the late 60's. It was Bolton, Parker, Way and Mogg.

Vinnie was good but that lunching back and forth all the time he played ruins it.

Yeah, I can’t stand when guitarists are eating sandwiches throughout a gig.
