For anyone who hasn't already, you really do need to see these in the flesh, I've always been a sports bike fella, but these blew me away at the NEC show

I visited the factory last week - very impressive, Darren kindly showed me around. I now have a Cafe Racer on order with several extras like radiator guard, lithium battery charger, rear hugger behind engine, billeted front sprocket cover, bar end mirror set and all weather air filter cover. Just under £10,000. Great buy me thinks.

I saw one of the café racer versions at the Bike Sheds Café Cup at Lyden Hill a couple of weeks ago. Looked them up straight away. I would buy one tomorrow if I had the cash and the wife didn't find out. Such a different looking production bike. Great vid, keep up the good work.
@forthebold6 жыл бұрын
Same here, wife not knowing would be easy, she never steps into the workshop. ;) Might notice the void in the bank account though

She has given me a son. Gotta say I’d choose him over the bike 👍

Brilliant video mate. I too love that range of CCM bikes. If I had the space, I don’t know whether I would be building my own, or finding the money to buy one of those!
@forthebold6 жыл бұрын
Thanks, they're really reasonable considering you get a UK built bike each stamped with their own limited number.

I've seen the spitfire bike at almost every bike show they've been at, and every time it changes.
@forthebold6 жыл бұрын
Might it be the different models under the spitfire range they show? There are 5
@adslammer13596 жыл бұрын
For The Bold - dreegez well, I meant to say really it was the exhaust, I saw it at a touring/enduro bike show when it was first released then at tobacco dock in 2017 and little changes like the exhaust and lights...
@paulm24675 жыл бұрын
They are produced in limited editions, so yes they evolve constantly.

Love the design of these bikes, apart from the two odd dents in the front of the tanks.
@forthebold4 жыл бұрын
They're for the handlebars not to hit the tank
@owenwilliams96664 жыл бұрын
@@forthebold I appreciate that, but speaking as a product designer, I'm sure there must be a better solution.

I love that last bike!! That’s so cool that they started that company! I wish I could start something like that.
@forthebold6 жыл бұрын
The company has been going since 1970s but concentrated on scramblers and dual use before recently

For The Bold - dreegez write to me on Instagram anytime! I love British bike history! Like norton and the cafe races y’all have and the king of speed Isle of Man stuff!
@ErrtuZarathos6 жыл бұрын
Cool looking, but they sound like mopeds. What are they? 250cc straight 2?
@forthebold6 жыл бұрын
Single bore 600 Husky engines, the camera mic doesn't pic up the sound best, like my Ducati, doesn;t do it justice, the Bobber is so loud.
@ErrtuZarathos6 жыл бұрын
Bobber sounded awesome on starting, but then again when idling it didn't have umph in it. I kinda get thumber in scrambler but bobber really need that slow idling V2.. This is really weird to say, cos I really don't like common V2s. (CX is not common tho).. And when you are having thumber, why in common rail injection inventors name you got double exhaust.. there is no other point then coolness and looks without functionality is no cool in my book. don't get me wrong here.. I got all my three thumbs up for local factorys and makers, but that isn't doing "it" for me.
@ErrtuZarathos6 жыл бұрын
Oh, Husky.. Husqvarna.. we call it Husse. :)
@mikemcglone31846 жыл бұрын
I heard the FT6 fired up last week and defo not like a moped, it sounded amazing. The promo videos are not great audio and tend to cover the sound with heavy guitars which needs improving as we need to hear it sing and not be listening to cheap music.
@ni3walia3156 жыл бұрын
Hi there , Question here. Is they build there own frame and engine ?
@forthebold6 жыл бұрын
They build their own frames but it's a Husky engine.

Not the best promotion video could have told us a lot more instead a just showing the bike. For sure best looking bike I have ever seen and was the best crosser in the 80/90s when I was racing.
@forthebold4 жыл бұрын
Not a promotion video at all. Is just genuinely my visit there as they’re not far and I was interested in seeing them.
@rickducharme74296 жыл бұрын
CCM had better increase production capacity. Those bikes are extremely cool and desirable, and, I'll go out on a limb here: they just have to be crazy, stupid fun.

Doesn't look like it's exactly built to the lightest standard and who thought selling them without painting the frames was a good idea?
