I got a letter from ccs saying I owe £50 for department work and pension I’ve never put myself into a situation like this!! Now they don’t answer phone or emails

Hi I am dealing with a similar situation as I have received a ccs letter and am pretty sure it is in relation to a debt of around 1.2k from someone making a fraudulent universal credit application. Is there anyway to contact them with information as they do not answer

I have received a letter saying I owe £575 to HMRC, yet I am on PAYE and have never received any correspondence from HMRC

How can you discuss a debt if they don't answer calls or emails?...They are uncontactable.

I had the same issue and called HMRC. They confirmed that I didn’t owe them anything. If I did they would send me a P800 and also call me. I also asked if they dealt with CCS collect and said, NO!! So I be very cautious when dealing with this company 😳

Yes there legitimate because I worked there for a year.

In my experience, these debt collectors are more interested in using your debt as an asset of theirs. Pay them the very, very minimum,
