This is a point I think a lot of people miss. Being 16 and in one of the biggest bands in the scene at that time he never really got the chance to grow up. And I dont think he really wanted to leave fftl. Most people dont realize just how much he destroyed his voice. I mean, they basically toured for four years non-stop. That'll mess anyone's voice up.

Crazy thing is I was able to see them live December 1st 2006 when they came to Pittsburgh. I’ll never forget it because Sonny is the same age as me and I got to be front and center .
