CDC Side Splitters installed on my s197 Bullitt Mustang

Love the side splitters bud. Always been a fan of the Bullitt. A true car guys car. If you know, you know 😎 I plan to eventually add side splitters too along with the GT500 front splitter for my GT/CS front fascia.

I was curious if these interferes with your jacking rails but it looks like it does not. On American muscles website it stated it would not work but I’m glad that it looks like they do, I’ll be ordering a set for sure now!

Yeah, it’s not perfect. Regardless, the jacking rails are a must with the side splitters if you use the pinch wells to lift your car.

@@ProjectBullitt Installed mine a little different. Had my son hold the rear in place while I held the front section, lined up the splitter, then drilled the f/r holes applied the tape and finished the install. I didn't want to take the chance of drilling a hole off center using the template. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Also installed a set of V2 tail lights.

The turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray is excellent. You can treat plastic. Turtle wax was always kinda junky, but their ceramic line has gained a ton of respect and super affordable. I've been treating the plastic on my vehicles with it and it looks great.

Do the splitters have to be modified at all with the jacking rails or do you just have to be careful and make sure the jack is not touching them?

No nothing has to be modified, though the jack stands do get on the side splitter a little. It’s never been an issue
