@@ChrisEdwardsRestoration your voice sounds very present. Not raspy. Yes the high frequencies are rolled off but that’s good. No longer is there all the background hiss sounds. You sound like you’re on the radio. Radio DJ Chris! You can always add some highs back using your video editor if you want.

Looking good! I have been having a blast upgrading my CDTV. For now I am sticking with 1.3, mainly because I don't have many other 1.3 devices. You will love that Keyboard adapter from the guy in Poland. Mine works fantastic!

Yes i have it finally. Still have not used it yet.

My only (minor) problem with the CDTV keyboard adapter is that I'm using a PS/2 adapter on my AT keyboard, and I have to unplug then plug in the keyboard into the CDTV adapter for it to work. Thought I still had a good ol' straight up PS/2 keyboard down in the computer morgue but they're all USB. My ZuluSCSI is just hangin' in the breeze out back of the CDTV... I should really print a bracket of some type to hold it, since I'm not brave enough to pull apart the machine to try to mount it in the case somewhere. :P

Another useful and enlightening Vid Chris 👍🏻 I know you don’t have a Keyboard yet. But I will ask this anyway. What sort of speeds does the CDTV SCSI add on give in terms of HDD Read/Writes? I.e what does sysinfo tell you? I take it that the 68010 CPU is the highest CPU you can upgrade the CDTV to? Cheers 🍻
@mraudio2 жыл бұрын
Actually there is someone on Amibay selling a TF536 that has been adapted to fit in the CDTV case that gives you a 68030 with 64MB fast ram and an IDE interface at a reasonable price.
@ChrisEdwardsRestoration2 жыл бұрын
the 68010 is what i had, im sure you can fit other things inside, i dont want to make this another maxed out device, just to what i want it to be,. the scsi is about normal speeds 1mbs range of the era.
