The Japanese version was known as Suzuki Cervo, while the export version was designated SH410 (Suzuki Alto). In comparison to the Indian Zen, the Japanese version was narrower and had an engine known as the 660cc F6A. At first, the export version (which did not use the UCAL Mikuni carb) was limited to the carbureted version and featured a different, more electronic carburetor. Additionally, an 8-valve mpfi engine (which was the same carbureted engine available in the Indian Zen called the G10B, but with different intake manifolds, etc.) was introduced to the export market in late 1994. Additionally, the 2-door and 5-door hatchback versions were supplied to export markets, and the last models had the 16-valve G10BB engine.
