Hi Stephen, Hard not to get excited for something so over the top cool! The Hero might just be about as good as it gets. E5P/E6P is IMO among the best bang for the buck in prosumer espresso grinders. Marc

I don't know guys, I'm an open from the top kinda guy myself. Initially put off by the huge package but after seeing it unboxed......I absolutely know I don't have that kinda counter space available. It is really pretty though! Luckily, I already own an E6P.......job done.

@@Wholelattelovepage Hi Marc, Always enjoy the show & tell you guys put on but I really don't see a need for a $5000 grinder to be even made. Of course, my take on the Rich & Famous market may be totally wrong and, just maybe, that market where price just doesn't matter is out there. Personally, I don't run in those circles. I had to price shop my E6P and I consider my spending on coffee gear over the years to have been pretty foolish. Like they, it's my thang. I've been following the Decent Espresso saga for a couple of years and I wouldn't be surprised if I get foolish again.

Hi 1, The PC speaker shaped thing is the speed control. Grinding speed is continuously variable from 600 - 1500rpm. It contains an inverter which changes single phase power to 3 phase. There's a thermostatically controlled fan in the box for cooling the inverter as needed. Also power switch for grinder and switch for fan in grinder.

Thanks Marc! I could have guessed that you had not used a lelit since you do not work with that brand. I still can’t choose between the Grace PL81T or Victoria PL91T single boiler machines. I was considering at the beginning the Rancilio Silvia. Thanks again for your comment.

Hi Mario, Had a look at the Grace PL81T. Seems to be a bit if a niche product and fairly pricey for a single boiler machine. The Victoria is a small boiler PID? machine. I wonder how good the brew temps are with the small boiler. Even with the PID? tough to control temps in small boiler and not sure how the group is warmed. I'm assuming it's passive heat from the boiler. Unless you are strictly espresso and no milk drinks when you get up into the $1,000 price range I'd start looking at machines with heat-exchange boilers so you can brew and steam simultaneously. Best value machine in that class IMO is the Expobar Office lever. Has E61 thermosiphon group which is customized by Expobar with an extra pre-infusion chamber behind the shower screen. www.wholelattelove.com/expobar-office-lever-semi-automatic-espresso-machine For a little more $$ you can move up to my favorite HX machine with PID the Profitec Pro 500 PID. Thanks a lot for the help Marc. I think is just the opposite, the more expensive Victoria has a 300ml boiler (same size as the Silvia) and the cheaper Grace has a 250ml. Anyway thank you and I’ll think about your recommendations.
