Talking to your reader (metatext) in thesis/research writing

This video is for doctoral and master's writers who are writing a thesis/dissertation or a paper for publication. Metatext (above or outside the text) are the phrases or sentences we use to talk to our readers. We use metatext to help our readers navigate our writing. In this video, we focus on organizational metatext - preview and summary sentences for a chapter/paper as a whole as well as within sections. Love her videos. Sadly even with the volume all the way up on my phone its nearly impossible to hear them unless İm in a dead quiet room. Because İ usually save video watching for public transportation, it makes watching hers impossible. 😢
