aaaand im alive omg
well this was a blast to do and although i am in so much pain physically, it was worth it !!
and for my first animatic, i think i did pretty good haha
here's a bit of the concept behind this;
so the two characters are named Evanora and Adel, and the beginning of the song it takes time in the 1940s (hence, a bit after the war was done)
Decades pass and they spend it together as fr i e nd s
Love didn't really flourish until after the 21st century, haha
But it never really got to do much since Eva prolly freaked out at the thought of being in love and ran away from it all

hi! it's been a while, but i figured i'd give an explanation to what happened here because i still get comments asking about it, so here we go! first thing's first, introductions: The girl is named Evanora Tenebrose, she is cursed from a deal she had made back in the early years of 1600s (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKq7ZIx_YrlooZI), so yes, she is immortal, that's why you see she doesn't age at all. The male is named Adel, he is the character of a friend of mine, Kyu (twitter.com/Kyu_Sentoshi), he on the other hand is a vampire. Now, story time! Adel and Eva met shortly after world war two had ended, and given their circumstances, they just began to just live together because of mutual benefits: Eva wanted someone to keep her company without them dying of old age, and his reason is ?? idk. And that's basically it, they're being together (as room mates) through the decades. By the end of it, she ended up feeling overwhelmed by her growing feelings for Adel, thus she left on her own to try and get herself back and think things through. Hint, it's been centuries since she's felt like this, so she's just ?? what do? No, she didn't die. Actually, she came back! And they are happy together, the end Also, i wanna thank everyone for watching this and for the nice comments, they're a bit overwhelming since i'm not used to this sort of thing but i promise i read them sdfjsfgdfg

Your art style is very beautiful and the motion lines you tend to do at moments and the simplicity of the lighting and coloring you add to each frame and add the very little details to show aging and how the characters interact with eachother and every way you progress to show how they are happy together and the playfulness and all! I have never seen such a beautiful way someone has done a song and how you change the backgrounds too for the way of love and the way when the tempo builds up you seem to add more frames and movement to seem to go with the upbeat of that part of the song and the changing of the females character with the years and when it shows her leaving you put it together with the beat and everything to do with movements and UGH I CAN'T EXPLAIN HOW MUCH I LOVE YOUr Art but something people seem to miss is the person making the art, you seem like a very sweet person (don't want to assume what you go by) and I'm sure that people love to be with someone who seems so upbeat and passionate about their work ❤

I'm sorry, but can I just say, thank you? This is the prettiest thing ever, and the song is... so wholesome. This animatic introduced this song to me, and it seemed to be an anchor for me. Sometimes, my anxiety acts up and, this is mainly at night so I can't really reach my phone, I begin playing the song in my head, letting the words just take over. I'm not sure why, but it's able to calm me down, while anything else would just worsen it. I think it might be the fact that he was so glad that he met someone so amazing, or the fact that his voice is so smooth, but it really helps. So, thank you.
