Very informative video. I will stick to OEM AGCO parts. My dealer is only 5 miles away and the slightly higher cost is worth the peace of mind imo.

Great info, Ed. You must have an engineering or Quality Control background. I was a Q.C. Inspector back in the late 70's and early 80's. I used to do research like this on products we would use or potentially use in the shop where I worked.

I do have an engineering background, but I like to think I'm more a practical person who happens to have a degree hanging on the wall, lol.

I have found over the years that saving a few dollars on such critical items are not worth the money saved. You will get away with that for a while but eventually it will catch up and you will spend way more than you have saved and have so much more trouble. I have worked in industrial maintenance department as an electrician and at times electric and mechanic for over 30 years, and I have seen this play out so often that it is not worth trying to save the few dollars on these items. I just buy the OEM and not worry about it. It is definitely worth the peace of mind.

I think you're right with that assessment, but I know some people are going to go for an aftermarket filter no matter what. Hopefully I'm at least arming them with some information so they lean toward a decent product and away from junk like LSSOCH.
