Happy Holiday Dr.Franke. I followed the lecture and tried to plot log scale in excel. I am wondering what factor or reason should I consider when we decide x axis decreasing (1000 to 100 to 10 to..0.01) or increasing as normal. My graph would it be same if x axis goes increasing from 0 to 1000. Thank you!

Dr, after greetings, I would like to know how can I calculate the CM values of CM diagram from the distribution curve where C is the coarsest one percentile and D is the median. Is C value refers to 1% or 99%?

Ironically, had a FE Exam question about a 'gap graded' soil.

We were informed that Engineers use "Well Graded", whereas Geologists use "Poorly sorted". Also "Poorly Graded" would be "Well sorted". Which makes sense, because something that is highly graded will have a large variety of shapes and sizes, which also means that the sample is poorly sorted by size and shape.

**Tthsk + dramatic inhale** Did you notice that you your mouth does a clack for each new slide?? It’s annoying and also it’s not necessary to indicate that you’re moving on because by the time you do it the slide has already changed 😅 do you have this verbal tick when teaching too? Does the *tsk* sharp inhale thing have meaning that in misssing? Do you *tsk* sharp inhale intentionally or is it like a reflex? It’s annoying as frickin heck but also I can’t imagine why you’re doing it either….. can you get a pen to click over and over instead? I think that’s slightly less annoying during a LECTURE….
