I can relate when shopping. I see an item and say that's too much I can make that cheaper. Always said that when shopping with young daughter. We would sometimes make the item. I am absolutely like you, when it comes to creativity. I can't seem to just "come up with an idea" with a blank canvas, but I'll see something on Pinterest, and it will spark something, then I'll see something else, and that spark starts to grow. Your encouraging voice and lovely hair and the beautiful blue you favor is what caught my eye and you became my favorite on you tube. Thank you. One of the first things I remember making for my room was with an empty toilet paper roll. I wanted Christmas decorations and that and colored paper made several items for my teenage room with little money. I like you made copies frequently throughout my life. One of my sons does the same thing. I too was a single mother for nearly twenty years raising my children to adults before attempting another union. I’m now a widow sadly but I’m strong and fine with my life, I’m 80 now and still do a lot of copying with a single income again. Here’s to many years for you. I always look forward to watching you and find your ideas so wonderful even if I don’t copy them.

You always make me laugh. I am always told how talented I am, but I'm really a copy cat. If I see something I want to make, I make it. I once made a wooden doll bed for my granddaughter. Costs me about $150 - I had to buy a small power saw! The down side is original ideas are few and far between. I am alway in awe of the recycle or upcycle ideas you come up with. I pray your migraine has eased. I've been in this house for 28 years and widowed for 14. Had a couple of home maintenance issues right during CoVid where repairs remain incomplete. Between that chaos and accumulated stuff as I tried to 'find' myself without my husband, I get concerned sometimes I look like a hoarder. To give myself grace...I needed to hear that today because I had an arthritis flare-up over the weekend that prevented me from doing much of anything. I woke up beating myself up about what I didn't get done this weekend. I'm making a plan of focus areas for 20-30 minutes each day and I now have a garden kneeler that flips over to a bench to help me with getting up and down. I'm excited about a new focus and I thank you again for the encouragement.

Congratulations on your 8 year milestone with KZbin! My ex had started a home business when we were together, and about a year into, someone contacted him because they had the same business name. He changed his business name because the other person had it before him. Somehow, when he applied for his business license, the name was overlooked. I think the hardest part was that he had business cards, flyers, and his van decals already. That was an extra cost he did not expect, but it all worked out. I love your content and encouraging message. I love making things, but I am like you - see something to give me the ideal and research it, then come up with something.

YEP!!! I ran the required ad before getting my business license too. Yes, all the printed media - and websites, and business accounts, and getting people to know your new name. It almost took me out!!!! So glad it worked out for your ex. And thanks for being here with me for over 5 years!!!!
