Ok I’m seriously addicted to this character this Build! All kinds of testing. It’s all I have been playing for 2 weeks!!!😂 Thank you for this build video!! If your wanting to max your enemies frustration (and be a hero winning BGer” I suggest …. In BGs Chaos Ball or Deathmatch Liv Dark, repentance, channel focus, ext ritual, ult practice incantation (HUGE team SUPPORT) and ….you can hold the choas ball the entire time! Capture the relic Substitute ext ritual for hasty prayer (team speed up!) All other modes or if you want more offense Liv Dark, aurora Jav, punct sweeps, ext ritual, honor dead, ult Practice indication (pain in the ass mode) don’t forget to bash casters! It’s a free attack! Here is what’s cool though…you can PVE 4 man dungeons as DPS buy only moving skills!!! Lead with Spear shards, close use aurora javelins as you close, front line spam puncture sweeps, reapply spear shards, Jesus beam to finish boss and honor the dead to gain team love ❤ Ult use crescent sweeps Have fun go win differently and be annoying as hell and nearly impossible to kill

Great template! However, the main problem I find with such builds is that smart players won't hit you and kill your team instead. So if you want to modify this build to not just be a troll but to be a strong addition to a team, I'd suggest to make some changes: 1. Don't play oakensoul. Play the saint and the seducer. Since you are a durable character you will provide a lot of help to your teammates while just staying alive. 2. Don't miss out on Swift trait. Speed is a key in a lot of fights. You will feel a lot more potent with 1-2 traits already. 3. Restoring Focus is insane when you stand inside it, have it on a backbar. 4. Don't be scared to sacrifice 2 slots on bars for permanent Mystic Guard. This will provide insane protection to a carry player in your team. If they don't hit you, they will then struggle to hit the weakest link in the group as well! Plus it gives you a good bonus of Magicka Aid passive permanently. Bonus point: Aurora Javelin is the most annoying disable in game imho. Plus with current design of 4v4 maps - you can easily get rid of people shoving them off the cliffs.

Been playing it for a couple weeks, pretty good survivability, useful in team fights and great utility in the ability to revive fallen teammates, protect objectives, and push into enemy groups. This build trades almost every pvp luxury for survivability. You will be very slow, almost annoyingly so and you deal absolutely no damage but thats what u get for using a build such as this. I would recommend this build but there are better, more optimized options out there.

Great build! In the vid you have 50 in health and 14 in stamina, but on the website 64 in health. Which is better? Also, I am high elf. Currently made 7-50-7 stats.

I have tried it! You _can_ forego Oakensoul in favor of Zoal's monster set, if you want to troll even harder. But you then need to also keep Rune Focus down (either morph), aat. Of course this also affords you the opportunity to back-bar a Frost Staff, to off-load some block-cost onto your magicka pool, or a Master's Resto Staff, for huge recovery and group contributions. On a grim note... Is it not sad that this is what Templar is reduced to, in the current PvP environment? Well, if we're to be fodder for NB & Sorc, we may as well make them work for it! xD

I put this build together for my wife about a year ago and I ran a slightly more offensive version with the same sets but with 2h and D-swing, javelin and ice comet. We ran together and did about as much damage as one player combined. It was a fun way for my wife to get to play pvp with me and not die all the time. When we did get a kill or two it was very rewarding. Anybody new to pvp should try this build then slowly adjust sets and stats toward offense once your skills increase.

Tried the build this evening. Followed it precisely and not good results in battlegrounds. Getting melted in all but 1v1. Yes, i kept the dark shield up. Really annoying to be melted before i can stun break. What kinds of builds can melt tanks as easily as they melt farm animals?

They stack penetration through the roof, followed by other things like the cp that does oblivion dmg? I think it does, tanks get tankier so dps get more pen

If you're taking it in BG you are missing all of your resistance cps, and healing is cut in half and alot of them are using defile, breach, poisons and other nasty things

Pen isn’t as important as crit damage. Crit combos with high crit damage is what kills you. Balorgh monster set covers pen. Plus major and minor breach. Also btw, this build absolutely sucks. Don’t watch xynode for anything PvP related

I actually made a similar build last night and to my surprise I was actually killing people and 1vxing which I've never been able to do comfortably lol . 45k hp and 5k SD with 8k pen lol using tank sets no doubt.. My sustain is a lot lower than yours, but rune and food I was sitting comfortably in the 2k fully buffed range. I went Destruction staff sharpened and lover mundus with all SD glyphs. Bar setup is ele sus (main no cost spam-able ), rune, vigor, Jesus beam, jabs, and a bust ult of your choice (meteor, Destro ult). I was surprised at how well it works especially 1v1 in most cases.

A good build to annoy players. Great for survival, fishing or similar. But with this it will be difficult to kill even the mobs guarding the flag on the resources. And you definitely won’t be able to kill a single player. Only if by accident.

If you want to really enjoy bgs with this build put on the Jesus beam. Full tank + beam and just assist whoever the best player on your team is. You’ll get a ton of kills and they won’t be able to kill you.

There’s a specific exploit using the skill expunge and modify that necros use to get resources and permablock. I believe they use the set that heals you when you block and block-cast that spell to get resources. Search for recent pvp necro tank builds and you will find someone explaining the set and skill layout.
