It's unfortunate that's even asked as a question; This is the kind of a person who is regularly required to amend their public image so we don't know who they are, we only know a version of them. A question I often consider about people is "who are you when you're at home?" and when that home is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue its importance becomes even more valid. And for people who say we don't know politicians, we know they have a history of public service which is, you know, public. That's the best explanation for what it's like to be a celebrity and by god am I glad I'm not famous. I kept on thinking every day in middle school and high school about how everyone thought I'm an idiot and an awkward mess, when looking back, I don't think they were focused on anything I did. Although, I'm sure I'll eventually get those feelings again, I'm so glad that adulthood isn't like that. Thanks for explaining that experience.
