Most people, even non-sports fans are inspired by world-class athletes like Novak… but why? To be world-class at anything it takes more than natural skill, it takes physical, personal, spiritual development and a healthy relationship with one’s own ego to begin a fulfilling journey to greatness - something we are all capable of, given we know how to use the appropriate tools. In today’s conversation, Novak shares everything. He even takes us back to his childhood where he remembers confiding to his tennis coach instead of his own parents about the growing pains of being a young man.

Novak might be the most relatable person to me. In the first 24 minutes I have learned one of the biggest lessons in life - Never ever be ashamed of your past and where you come from. You've had bad experiences in life but they define your character. Do not be ashamed of that.

That was such a nice post 👍And just to tell you, cause I come from a country next to his, he's not only open about his country and what it went through, but very proud of his people and their history. And they have a lot to be proud of, most of theitr history is based od defending their and other's freedom. He values that and is immensily proud. That's what I call a man!

So republics wanted to separete but Serbs lived for 1000 of years everywhere. So Serbs were trying to stop that. Than sent military and then NATO bombed us and Montenegro. Also Yugoslavia was such a powerhouse West did not like that. War was hell always. Stop violence

Yugoslavia was created after Great War in 1919. Serbia and Montenegro had their own countries before the war . They United with Slovenia and Croatia ( they did not have their own states and they were parts of Austro - Hungarian state) because at that time the idea of Slovens sate was popular. That Yugoslavia had king ( Karadjordjevic) Yugoslavia was totally devastated in the Second World War . Millions Serbs died in concentration camps In NDH ( todays Croatia ) , many people died in civil war between anti communists and communists , the least numer died from foreign factors ( Germans, Hungarians, Bulgarians ) . Then it was Yugoslavia after 1945. As communist country. Novak's origin is Yugoslav. His mother is from military family ( her parents were working for Yugoslav national army ) and Novak's father is Montenegro Serb. He has best features from both his parents.

@@engjullifyidn't like that and many other things and through their secret services (Fie USA and Germany) they supported the separatists, anti-communists, i.e. the Croats who already worked with Hitler as a diner in World War II and kindled the fire, he added West WMF intentionally weakened the country before the outbreak of war. Since the West wanted to expand to the West with NATO, a strong Yugoslavia would have been an obstacle and an obstacle. That is why the monsters and occupiers from the west decided Yugoslavia must be broken. The Serbs were portrayed and demonized in the media as the villain, although they were for the cohesion of Yugoslavia. Ultimately we see the result that NATO established the 2nd largest base in the world in Kosovo and occupied Serbia and still hasn't withdrawn since 1999 is proof of what the goal was.

Novak demonstrates again and again why I'm such a fan of his. It's not just that he's (IMHO) the best returner in the sport; it's who he is as a person. I believe that, of all the sport's most elite players, Nolé is the most spiritually connected to humanity and the most deeply introspective. I hope that he continues forward on his path toward self-realization and continues to be the giving, caring person that he is. I'm a big fan of Novak's play on the court, but I'm an *even bigger* fan of who he is off the court.

Lol I don’t look up to someone who is a sore loser after they lose. An example of this is the Olympics this year where he lost to zverev and the Spaniard. Then he withdrew from mixed doubles and took the chance of his teammate from getting a medal. Being the 1 seed and getting disqualified from the us open. The goat is not just achievements, but the larger picture of what they have contributed to the sport.

You come hear to watch and listen to the smartest tennis player who ever played the game( and the GOAT) and you write negative things about him, because HE SHOWED up at the Olympics, unlike some who are your inspiration! If you watched his matches there, how you dare to criticise a 34 year old for being tired and injured and giving everything ( playing two matches every day in such brutal conditions )to win a medal for his country! The Serbian people have that what many not have a golden Charakter of Human. Nikola Tesla also wanted free energy for mankind without costs, but the greedy Freemasons wanted profit to enrich themselves. And in the end, they appropriated his more than 700 patents and even declared him crazy and stripped him of the Nobel Prize. Such is the western community of values. FULL SUPPORT for Novak Djokovic! The whole world calling him a liar even though he proved at COURT he did not lie and his documentation was proper, and still got deported for the reasoning that would not pass a three year old. Great man, example of self-ownership advocating for free choice and basic human rights of everybody, against political tyranny! He even donated A TON in Australia itself, not to mention other countries throughout the years and even during the pandemics, helping organize vaccination and they could not prove he is an antivax, because he is NOT. But he is pro-choice, having his own mind and integrity, and that seems to be prohibited. Watch the 2nd trial, world, it is an embarrassment for common sense, not to mention "inependent" law system and "democracy". Quote from it goes: (he is a threat because) "he might become an ICON OF FREE CHOICE". And indeed, he did become one. True champion!

it was when he said "when the student is ready, the teacher will come" WHEWWWWW!!!! soooooo trueeeeeeeeeeee. I've honestly known nothing about Jay Shetty, this podcast or anything. I just literally stumbled upon the interview with Will Smith on January 14th 2022 ( so amazing) and I have been religiously binge watching ever since .. watching Jay & all the guest i have seen him interview thus far has brought me pure BLISSSS! I Thank God for finding this podcast truly! every interview I've watched I've learned so much but this one the first one I'm actually commenting on resonated with me sooooooo muchhh & I'm just so Grateful to Jay & Novak for sharing all this Wisdom, Pure Love, Authenticity & Genuine Care for humanity spirituality & growth.

Djokovic isn’t a legend for nothing !!! It takes a lot of self awareness to be so humble & down to earth whilst also being the No.1 in one’s field. His humility is almost contagious ! This interview instantly put me in a good mood ! I’m here after watching Wimbledon 2023 finals & even though Djokovic lost the match, he’ll always be a winner & a cut above the rest ! Thank you Jay Shetty for this interview !

I started to watch tennis a couple of weeks ago. My impression about Djoko wasnt good, bec was influenced by media. As I love folling this podcast, Ive just bumped into it and I have to be honest, Im very indentified with Djoko, I wold be listen to him for hours ... He looks a nice person. We cant have oppinion about someone just from media, have to be asked. Thanks a lot

I love Novak, seriously. I pay no attention to the world of tennis- I happened to come across a video of him one day and was so floored by how charming and warm he is, and became a fan based off of that. I just saw him, the way he interacted with people, his playfulness, and I immediately thought "I wanna be like him". Of course I admire his ability as an athlete as well, but the way he is- his nature of being- just strikes a chord in me. After watching this interview, it makes so much sense why he came across to me the way he did. I love his spirituality and emotional intellgence- it's so rare to find people as introspective as this. He's so generous with what parts of himself he shares, and I love how he acknowledges that this approach is for everyone, not just athletes who sometimes seem like super humans. Thank you so much for this interview!

I can't get enough of Novak Djokovic videos. This is a great interview. Novak is such an inspiration. He's reached such a high energy and consciousness level. To those of us, who emensely enjoy watching his tennis magic, he's also become much more than just the greatest tennis player -- he's our guru, in a way... Just love this great human being! Thank you for this interview!
