I would have liked to see one dry painting..

Can I please see how the completed art looks like? Is that an unreasonable thing to ask?
@hank44

Who produced this horrible video? Not once did they show a single completed dry piece from a reasonable distance to see what the actual finished product looks like. You can't tell from all the close-ups and time-lapses with the paint STILL DRIPPING down what the end result will be. Go back and reshoot this and this time include some STILL IMAGES of the FINISHED ART from more than 10" away from the canvas.

What would that achieve? It's not like the space will provide a clearer picture of the person.

@@danitho I didn't say "CLEARER" I said "FINISHED". Just one shot of the actual dry finished work would be nice. It's a horribly produced and edited video to leave those images out and only show wet dripping paint in time-lapse. And if you look at the comments below -- A LOT of people are saying the exact same thing -- no images of the finished pieces.

@@hank44 When I said a clearer picture, I meant, you will not see anything different than the zoomed in one. I also didn't say a single thing about the quality of the video. I asked, what would distance achieve. For the particular pieces shown in the video, I think being up close did the paintings better justice. The artist has better examples of their work on their website. They seem newer, so maybe they've perfected the technique. There's also a bit where they walk through a gallery of sorts? Those paintings are dry.

@@danitho Strongly disagree-- abstract paintings like this look VERY VERY different up close then they do from a distance. The further away you are, the more the mind fills in the gaps and "looks" very different than up close. Just take the LV Sphere for example -- up close it's just a series of LED light pucks, and you can't see the entire canvas until you're a decent distance away. But up close, it's just LEDs. And the "gallery walk" is also really up close -- there's no distance to appreciate the work. Like I said -- a lot of other people are saying the same thing as me, so I'm not alone in this assessment.

@@hank44 That's a fair assessment. I am a fan of abstract art. I am not a fan of these works shown in the video. Like I said, they have better paintings on their website that I think accomplishes more. Especially their animal painting. I don't know why you keep mentioning other comments. In this second comment, you explained your perspective which stands on its own with the other comments. There are other comments that just don't like the art in general. I'm not here to start an Internet fight. I was just asking a question.

I certainly admire his creativity and patience, BUT I don’t see much likeness to the actual celebrities. I went to his website and if they hadn’t been labeled, I don’t think I’d have been able to figure out who they represented. RBG was a bit more obvious because of the distinctive robes. Props to him, though, for seeing the world through a different lens.

If they don't show you the finished product then I'm not too sure of this. Doesn't look like much. It's not like an impressionist

How very bourgeois. Quantity has long been a good way to increase the cost of a piece. if you can use a big enough canvas and add enough paint, then for sure you should be able to charge a lot, regardless of quality.

Is this a parody? It doesn't look like a celebrity except in the earliest stage, then after that it looses all coherence. It could be anyone. Lol@ Dolly Parton. Really. You guys running out of things to make videos of?
