We are onboard the Celebrity Equinox for our 10-day cruise to the Southern Caribbean, and today we are at our first port stop in Antigua.

At the start of 2021 we purchased our first motorhome and boy, was it a steep learning curve. We sold that at the start of 2022 and ordered a new campervan - the story got complicated but we are currently vanless so wanted to continue sharing our travels with you.

Nelson's Dockyard, in Antigua, named for Lord Horatio Nelson is very beautiful with very interesting history. If you enjoy history, it's a lovely place to explore.

I'm about to book my 2nd cruise for September 2023 with celebrity on the equinox. They are currently running a black Friday deal with up to $800 in onboard credit per cabin. On my first cruise I used the onboard credit to book excursions, to upgrade the WiFi package and buy cocktails. I intend to do the same and I'll probably book a few spa treatments or a meal in one of the speciality restaurants. If I didn't have the onboard credit I'd definitely do more exploring by myself.
