Beer is actually the best if you're not aiming to get excessively drunk. You like the taste and especially like the slight buzz with spicy, delicious food. It's the best complimentary drink to have. Of course if you're chugging down jugs it's gonna harm you. Drinking beer is still much safer because you're less likely to damage your liver than other forms of alcohol because people can't drink a lot of it without having to go to the washroom.

Beer is worst as you consume it more chasing that “High”. I ended up with a bad looking beer belly and high Triglyceride levels. I am Presently with Vodka (neat) and want to quit this addiction.
