I've been doing all of your herniated disc videos for the past week. I'm 23 and love yoga but have had back issues for the past 3/4 years presumably from studying at university and sitting on my bed, writing essays and hunched over my computer. I always thought flexion was good cause doing forward folds and twists felt so relieving but I never realized how dangerous it could be for my back. Last week my back finally gave out and started shooting pains down my legs. It's Tuesday now, and I feel so much better. Just last tuesday I couldn't even go to work cause I was in so much pain. You're literally saving my life I'm so glad I found your channel!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!

I love your herniated disc class! ❤️ I hurt my back several months ago and these classes allowed me to keep doing yoga & heal at the same time! I am in the same boat... tried to get back to yoga and strengthen my core but found I was starting to feel pain in my back again. Stopped yoga for two weeks and that pain went away. Celest's classes have been very helpful getting back into it.

OMG! Last week I could NOT do the hard move AT ALL! Today, I could do that super hard move with one leg bent and one leg straight with the foot pointing up. The human body and mind are marvelous things!

Agreed, I was like why views are so low and a bit skeptical but after 1 session from her week 1 routine I felt relief that I never felt after trying several routines with millions of views. Celeste is AMAZING no doubt! I tell everyone I meet with back pain to check out her channel.

I can’t help but sharing, I started week 3 this week and have been doing each routine for 2 weeks, 5 days per week. I am not feeling any pinching in my lower back and I can bend forward with proper form. After 5 months of no exercising I can finally get back to HIIT and lower body routine 👏🏾 👏🏾 of course remembering your advice of keeping my spine flexed. Thank you so much for creating this series ❤ 🙏🏾

[Updated Daily] Day 1... Kicking My Butt Again... Still not as difficult as week 1 but the dips with the front foot toes up was definitely so challenging that I did not get much of it today. My back is definitely feeling stronger with less pain the past few days. Thank you so much for your help Celeste. -------- Day 2... So challenging!! Skipped a day again yesterday. I really need to stay focused. Definitely doing other stuff to strengthen my core. Thank you. -------

Love your video on exercises how to heal herniated or disk bulge!! I just myself again with another possible L3 disk bulge. I’m ahead of it after fully recovering from a L5 S1 bulge. Been on the sidelines for a long time. Had to retire from martial Arts 🥋. Just happy I found your program on how to heal and recovery by building up core strength and flexibility!! I like the reminders to keep posture aligned, the stretches and weight bearing exercises are on point, and I am able to hear your instruction clearly, so I don’t have to look at the video the whole time. The area I struggled with was breathing. Keeping my breath even, and aligned with the physical work, was challenging. I found I was holding and gasping at one balance-challenging point. Hello celest-I’m on this third week. I wander -is it necessary each week to build on this, starting with the first week and continuing. Is it meant to be a building or should i only do each week as it comes. I’m tempted to take bits and pieces from each week and use it that. I’m just not sure of doing that. What would you suggest?

Thank you for this video! I'm not sure if I do have a herniated disc (but have had lower back pain on and off for a while; probably due to hunching over my computer/phone), but this was such a nice and gentle practice for a beginner like myself. One of my goals is to work out regularly and this seems like it could be a great morning practice. Would you recommend doing this practice daily? I also had some extra trouble because I was doing the exercises/poses on my bed, so it was difficult to keep balance. I have a yoga mat but it's gotten disgustingly dirty over the years lol...Does anyone have any tips on how to clean a yoga mat with products I'd likely already have at home? Thanks And thank you Celest for helping me feel that I'm doing something good for my body! Your encouraging manner throughout the video is so wonderful as well

Water, vinegar and a bit of essential oil (tea tree, lavender, verbena...) make a good yoga mat cleaning solution. Sunlight (outdoors) can help too, even in winter.

I have straight spine and i have lost natural curve. I have pain in my lower region of spine and also has big hard fat abdomen.i have visited doctor, they have suggested to not to bend forward much. Could you please assist if these video can help with the issues and regaining strength and curvature?
