Use YWA to develop a regular Sadhana to take control of your life, get strong and greet your best and most beautiful inner self. (Beach/Bikini body season can be so toxic! I got you! I got you.) Since this practice is only 14 minutes you might be able to try it in the early morning hours while your mind is clear and before you face your day. Notice how it feels to prioritize showing up for yourself before your day gets going. Let’s get strong while staying true to our inner teacher. That’s hot. Let me know how it goes down below!

I really appreciate how your focus is on inner self care and mind body connection rather than toning the perfect body and mastering difficult yoga poses. You make yoga accessible for anyone, and i think it's so important especially in a culture where body shaming, depression and anxiety are so prevalent. This channel has helped me with managing my own anxiety and confidence, and the burned calories and toned muscles are simply an added bonus! Thank you for everything you do!

I totally agree! I saw a yoga for 'weight loss' video with a blurb of 'the sweat is your fat crying' and I just feel that is SO toxic. That isn't mindful yoga. Adriene has been so helpful in my body and self love campaign. Totally love what you said.
@beyondthebop5 жыл бұрын
Meg Kemp "sweat is your fat crying" - wow that’s indeed really toxic. Unbelievable how yoga which should actually make you feel better about yourself can make it even worse. Luckily we have Adriene who really helps us to feel better.

As an aging, wounded ex-personal trainer, I am encouraged by your thoughts and words. I always tried to train my clients the way you describe. Adrienne sounds like a great fit, as long as you don't mind a(nother) man in your group.

You shouldn’t compromise form. Either do it with good form or don’t do it, you could hurt yourself and movements with improper form aren’t even as good of a workout because your not really working the muscles, other muscles that aren’t supposed to be, are doing the work

In the past I did not appreciate the phrase: "Inhale lots of love in, exhale lots of love out", the way I appreciate it now! As someone suffering undiagnossed cPTSD and being often missunderstood due to that. I came to store a lot of bitterness. So nowadays. Specially while angry or sad or hopeless thoughts come into my mind while practicing yoga, and wheneverI hear that phrase here, I am inmediately remembered of the fact that despite how people treat me. How bitter I might feel or how much my lack of trust issues strike. I can always communicate with love. I can always express my concerns, fears and dissapointments with love! Namaste! 🙏🌷

Blessed Beloved Beauties Spark Day-19 is intense. The shorter sessions are more challenging. It baffles me how different the experiences are when returning to a session. I did this practice for the first time 5 months ago and somehow it's more challenging today. Ironically, I did my calisthenics, weight training 💪🏾 and run 🏃🏿♀️ first whereas I did the session first the last time. Apparently, the experience is parallel to life off the mat. Five months ago I was in training for an at home job and I enjoyed it, yet when it ended I didn't miss it b/c it isn't aligned with my purpose. Today, I am pushing toward my purpose 100% and it doesn't come w/o it's challenges, yet the obstacles along the way strengthens me. This practice was challenging, however, I pushed through and I'm pushing through off the mat and excited about the outcome both with my body and purpose. Best wishes everyone! Namaste and Ase! 🦋♥️🦋

I work with kids, which can be both rewarding and frustrating. I have been following you (upon a recommendation from a friend at work) for about 2 weeks. I have done something with you each one of those days. Even when I haven’t felt like it, I’ve gotten down on my mat (dogs included) and done a session with you. I’ve already noticed changes in how I think, how I feel, and how my body even moves. I am so glad I found you. Your daily encouragement and kind words have made me more patient and I even find myself reminding the kiddos that we need to speak kindly to ourselves and others. I find myself repeating your words!! Thank you. So very, very much, thank you.

Tough but good one for me .. i need to come back to this one but today only had time for one round.. glad I did it but will need to not be afraid of this one in future..... I’ve built up strength since Jan 1 but yes, weak abs!! Thanks for offering this one today .oh, and I haven’t missed a day but yesterday it was so late in day I switched two days around and did the bedtime yoga last evening... so abs were today!!

Thank you! I like the way you acknowledge some of us are having trouble getting the spine flat on the floor and provide an adaptation.

Blossom Day 15 One of the rare instances when I did not enjoy the practice. My mind was racing about the to-dos of the day and I couldn't get it to settle down and be mindful of the breath and movements. On the bright side, I got a good break from sitting at work for long hours and a nice burn in the core :) See you all tomorrow for sweet 16 practice!

Hello YWA and Breath to Bridge family! How was your practice today? I was feeling tired at the start but felt pretty good afterwards. I only did one round despite having more time due to the start of the Lunar New Year holiday here. Hopefully, after I come back home later, I can do some more. I had some of the discomfort again in my upper left leg. Also, one of the pins from an old hernia mesh surgery kept making its presence known but otherwise this practice felt pretty good. I was surprised that my arms and shoulders had noticeably more flexibility today. Hope your day is great! For any one celebrating the Lunar New Year, I wish you much luck this year! For any Koreans in the community, Happy Seollal. Sae hae bok mani ba doo se yo! 💜🙏 Bridge day 11. Day 130 in a row with Adriene.

Hi William, I struggle a lot woth my hamstrings for the past year and Adriene's yoga help me so much. Hope your leg is feeling better too. Have a nice holiday! 🙏
@williamb72753 жыл бұрын
@@astridlim5512 Yes, I deal with that as well some days, more often in the left leg. Today I had to laugh while I was out. My knees felt a little sore and I had some twinges in other areas. I took them as a hopeful omen that my hamstrings had improved, 😂🤪

Hi Wiliam, Practice was a little challenging today. My body is super sore from the combo of yoga and weight training with my husband. Yesterday I did an ab workout, so I was feeling that big time in my practice today. I also only did one round. It was all I felt my body could take at the moment.

today i struggled with a horrible panic attack, and i felt guilty for not being able to do my typical intense workout for the day. this yoga workout helped me so much in so many ways. i still felt the burn, but i also felt ok that i wasn’t pressured to push myself past my limits. this is amazing. thank you adriene🥺❤️

Day 13 process, I loved this abdominal core practice today, it was stimulating, energetic and brief! It's a kind of short practice can be done whenever we have short amount of time but need a vigrous practice to be awakened! ❤namaste❤

Again Adriene never fails to provide that one targeted yoga practice for the abdomen - I’ve been practicing this exercise 4 times a week for 2 years with excellent results - this an awesome practice that does the job - thank you Adriene xx
