Pantera was Nwobhm and Judas Priest influenced into a similar style of Power metal of Judas Priest pre painkiller and Riot and so on ..Exciter With a thrashier influence since 1984 popping more . Its not because you have a teased hair and Tight pants that your music is Like Poison . I think Pantera relativly Sober even in look compared to Overkill in 1982 or Loudness that nobody label as Glam . But Pantera yes . I don't get it By the way you don't get it . For that matter even it have evolution i dont see so big contrast between Power metal and CFH . In fact in 1988 -1991 performances i don't see huge difference when Psycho holiday is played before Death Trap and Heresy before Over and out . I mean you guys lacks all fondation to consider of the 70's / 80's british HM style .

And by the way Celtic frost had eye liner and Big hair in Tragic serenades and ITP era . Its like you choose to ignore hard or skip ITP and you re so like hibernation into your hellhammer and morbid tales , eventually Megatherion stuff then suddenly Woke Up in Cold Lake " what happened ?" . You skip sllght transition aspect , simply .quorthon had gigantic Hairdo , make up too in 1985-1987 and nobody take a shot to that But CF , Pantera , here we go . Buy your coherence Most bands had this then . The discharge album you referr is more an attempt to be mercyful fate than Glam record . Again , extreme crowd , it shows again your sectarism , and your ignorance

Not saying cold Lake was but it's interesting to see fans turn on any band when they do something different. Metal heads are usually no different to pop fans. Just want the same thing dished up with all the music hooks that pop has. Look at Metallica, most commercial metal band and pop and metal fans love them. So much for the eighties rebellion against commercial music.
