Dancing violet dreams. Joining nights of satin fame. Acting jewel games. All forgiven, you streak my heart. More than pleasure in ice cold flames. Crying soft, as love flies tame. Swelling tears in diaries of lies. Fading lights, as songs die quiet. Bleeding sweet for dying blind. Masking fears of silent decline. Cherry Orchards. Ginger looks upon pain. Cherry Orchards. August fades like tears in vain. Winter's final shine. Dressing gold, one last time. Seep from lace. Roses for an unborn face. Cherry Orchards. Ginger looks upon pain. Cherry Orchards. August fades like tears in vain.

Pantera was Nwobhm and Judas Priest influenced into a similar style of Power metal of Judas Priest pre painkiller and Riot and so on ..Exciter With a thrashier influence since 1984 popping more . Its not because you have a teased hair and Tight pants that your music is Like Poison . I think Pantera relativly Sober even in look compared to Overkill in 1982 or Loudness that nobody label as Glam . But Pantera yes . I don't get it By the way you don't get it . For that matter even it have evolution i dont see so big contrast between Power metal and CFH . In fact in 1988 -1991 performances i don't see huge difference when Psycho holiday is played before Death Trap and Heresy before Over and out . I mean you guys lacks all fondation to consider of the 70's / 80's british HM style .
@Nissardpertugiu

And by the way Celtic frost had eye liner and Big hair in Tragic serenades and ITP era . Its like you choose to ignore hard or skip ITP and you re so like hibernation into your hellhammer and morbid tales , eventually Megatherion stuff then suddenly Woke Up in Cold Lake " what happened ?" . You skip sllght transition aspect , simply .quorthon had gigantic Hairdo , make up too in 1985-1987 and nobody take a shot to that But CF , Pantera , here we go . Buy your coherence Most bands had this then . The discharge album you referr is more an attempt to be mercyful fate than Glam record . Again , extreme crowd , it shows again your sectarism , and your ignorance

Yeah, probably not the greatest career move for Celtic Frost, but for some insane reason, I love this song. It somehow wins me over. Take away the hair and makeup and you still have a great riff and song from Tom. Probably the heaviest glam metal song ever. Unfortunately for Tom, this album tanked and so did the Frost's career until Monotheist came out in 2006.

Yeah, wow, me too. I strangely like this song. I got into Hellhammer when they first formed and also loved Celtic Frost from the beginning. I got into punk & hardcore (still am) and left most metal behind so I didn't even know until tonight that Celtic Frost went this direction! First response was a near heart attack, but then the girl speaking started & I was like "this is actually kind of cool!" I'm going to explore/learn more about Tom doing this. I suspect he wanted fame & fortune, or the record company was pressuring him, hair metal was the thing then!

People hate on this but I remember when Into The Pandemonium came out and the fans couldn't get it and turned there back on Celtic Frost. Now it's considered an avant garde classic. Not saying cold Lake was but it's interesting to see fans turn on any band when they do something different. Metal heads are usually no different to pop fans. Just want the same thing dished up with all the music hooks that pop has. Look at Metallica, most commercial metal band and pop and metal fans love them. So much for the eighties rebellion against commercial music.

I like the death type Celtic Frost also, but i've always loved this song and video since i first watched it and recorded it on to a VHS tape during the OLD headbager's ball. gotta love it. sort of a guilty pleasure.

CELTIC FROST is amazing, and every album they put out sounds different from each other. That was Tom's plan behind the whole thing. To show diversity & talent of many different sounds. Sorry if you don't get it, but, that's it.
