Stadium is a good doc stage because you get space to run away from characters while also being able to pill spam for a while

Kind of a rookie question, I'm new to falco but what is westballz doing when he jumps shines and immediately back airs? Is that what he's doing? How is it so quick?

Super Unlimited in the air, the lag between shining then jumping is shorter because there is no jumpsquat, allowing for quicker followups. In this case, with the proper DI, you can shine then back air almost immediately if you shine in the air. This works with all of falco's aerials except forward air, i believe, but I could be wrong. maybe even forward air works.

Im guessing his logic was that he won on dreamland and lost on battlefield and was then feeling uncomfortable with being in close spaces with westballz, so he wanted to go to a big stage that was the most comfortable to him that he hadnt won on before and settled with stadium.

I agree with you alot, my only guess is that he seems to have an impressive handle on what options his opponents have and which ones theyre going to go for, a much better one than the people ranked below him who might have better tech or punishes
