I love this song, but the comments about black butler 1) Jack the ripper was a real person who killed prostitutes 2) Yes, Yana Toboso used some historical events to add to his story, and also used the theory that "Jack the ripper" was actually 2 people who worked together, some say a female who couldn't have kids herself and killed those who didn't keep the kids, and that she had a man help her. Which is what Yana Toboso was hinting at, anyone could get away with almost anything those times as it was hard to figure out who had done it (since they weren't as smart those days) and we didn't have technology to help either. I get everyone is getting worked up when people say they love Grell because he is somewhat based on a killer, but those people probably mean the character himself, not Jack the ripper. Please stop nit picking at Yana Toboso's work just because a character is based on something historical and everyone seems to love the character Grell. I believe Yana Toboso's intentions were not to get people to love the woman either. It was to add drama and show that, things were way harder those times, and to add to that, he made Grell into a Grim reaper to show that this killer was unable to be caught because he was tricky as if he was never actually there. Also please do not get mad at me, this is just my opinion, I think the arguing about people saying they love a character is ridiculous as you don't know what they know or why they say it Instead of being like "Ugh this annoys me" Maybe ask them if they know who Jack the ripper is, or why they like Grell?
